The defense is great, just not great enough given how inconsistent the offense is. The offense is clearly the weaker performing unit.
I don’t believe the D can carry this team yet, I could see OU scoring 20-30 on it.
Time will tell.
We have a qb who’s still finding his comfort zone and a WR corps where the veterans are playing inefficiently and the fresher faces are out performing them.
Wingo isn’t mentally ready for an alpha dog role, Moore doesn’t seem to be in sync with Arch.
Arch also doesn’t like taking what the defense gives him. He needs to get the ball to his backs quicker instead of looking to force the ball downfield. He really loves throwing deep balls, but lacks the anticipation for it right now.
This isn’t a playoff team unless the defense becomes much stingier. Or Arch finds a way to become more efficient with his current ability.
Why on earth would we get Arch hits against SJSU?
Who fucking cares about winning by 50 when our QB gets bruised up?
He needs to work on both, but his decision making and his footwork are the most important things he can work on.
Ohio state was also aligning and rushing to limit his ability to move outside of the pocket.
For the people thinking Milwee has anything significant to do with his mechanics, remember he’s been getting trained by David Morris for more than a decade now. Shit, many D1 athletes have their own personal coaches/trainers these days.
People need to realize that Sark's offense is not complex. He's not gonna go and make it complex to make you happy. The complex portion of Sark's offense is the disguising and motions from the different formations that he runs his same set plays out of. The time it takes to diagnose it real time is what makes it tough. Each defender has to know what's going on exactly when it happens if the offensive players are doing what they're supposed to be doing. One person guesses wrong, and it can be an explosive.
Didn't notice Ant Hill much at all. Colin flashed multiple times, but Sayin made amazing throws under pressure to keep the chains moving.
Sayin was making better throws under pressure than Arch was making with a clean pocket.
Stroh was possibly our best run blocking guard yesterday.
The game is coming down to our OL not getting it done against their DL and their OL getting it done enough against our DL.
Arch needs to be appreciably better than Sayin to make up for that, and right now he isn't playing like it.
Yea, you can’t go into a first grade classroom and try to discuss algebra.
Hell, you start saying that Santa isn’t real and you might have a problem on your hands in there too.
Gotta know your environment.
Much rather have a highly capable blocker at TE to balance Endries with. Shannon can catch too, he just isn’t as athletic as Washington
No clue how good of a blocker Washington is.
There are some very good looking women who go to a&m. I didn't go because of all the cult shit, but I swear the female guides were throwing themselves at me when I was touring.
A few of the other potential students were very attractive too.
I can see the charm of a&m, but once you see the cult for what it is, you can't unsee it.
I am thankful for the choice I made back then every day.
