  1. Right behind the ability to trip over the feet of your linemen
  2. Mahomes ran a 4.8. Baker Mayfield and Matt Stafford as well. Quinn might do that if he actually runs it. It’s a matter of pocket presence and foot quickness. Arch has shown flashes of good pocket presence, but the jury is still out on that.
  3. A mobile QB is a luxury. He needs an OL that can drive people off the ball with IZ. Especially with the interior OL. Most of his best stuff works when people have to respect that. If we gotta bring in a guard to do that, so be it. I think there’s a spot for Connor Robertson on the OL, he seems to play pretty nasty at times.
  4. Once Golden started to blow up, it made sense to strike while the iron was hot. It was also his plan to be one and done at the start of the season
  5. Conner was a 2021 guy, so unless he redshirted his first year, he’s out of eligibility.
  6. With Penn State’s running backs staying in school, the RB class has thinned out some. They aren’t the same kind of back as Blue, but that could make it easier for someone to justify drafting him.
  7. Ryan Williams has been a freak since his freshman year of HS to be fair. He exceeded expectations, but most knew he was gonna be a day one contributor. DK Moore will likely do the same at Oregon. WR is one of those positions in most offenses where you can get on the field early and make an impact if you take care of business.
  8. Bama thought they had that with Tua, then Mac was the one who got it done. Tennessee with Peyton, only for Tee Martin to do it.
  9. This is legit impressive and a big clue to how they feel about Nate kibble moving forward. Good find Also, we’ll see how the line looks next year when we have a more capable creator at QB next year. Love Quinn, but his pocket presence made life tough for those guys.
  10. Safer than Agiye Hall? Jahleel Billingsley? Absolutely.
  11. He didn’t have a recorded fumble. I think he lost the ball or nearly lost the ball twice in the postseason. One, for sure, on a reception running OoB against ASU. They’ll grind the tape and count that against him.
  12. Last year's draft was more shallow than usual due to NIL keeping more guys in college an extra year. RB was especially weak last year. This year it's stacked at that position as a result.
  13. If he didn't finish with 2 good games in the playoffs, he's probably back in college next year in a different uniform. But he entered the season with the expectation to go pro and he and his crew feel like he's done enough to make that a realistic goal at this point.
  14. He actually finished with over 1000 yards from scrimmage this year. His biggest risks in going this year are the stacked RB class coming out and his fumblitis.
  15. RT inspires no confidence in the fans, does he even do the same fan outreach stuff that Beard did? Everyone I talk to is done with the guy already. We aren't likely to make the tourney this year, but I imagine his fate depends on who they think they can get.
  16. Sark's offense is at its best running IZ effectively. We tried to run it early in his tenure and couldn't due to personnel. Bijan wasn't great at it and the OL wasn't even decent at blocking it. We found some success in the second year doing some double team blocks and other gap scheme runs. Bijan was at his best in OZ, and we had the athletic linemen to run it. Brooks was our best IZ guy by far. We were hoping Baxter could be better at it this year, but once he got hurt, things fell to shit until we went back to OZ as the primary in the 2nd half of the OU game.
  17. Wingo's biggest issue is learning the WR positions better in Sark's offense. He also needs to refine his route running. Add a bit more weight, then start using it effectively to maximize his physical gifts.
  18. I'm always terrified when I imagine people like this in positions of consequence
  19. Sam can definitely throw the ball, he just didn’t have the strongest arm. Ball placement was also an issue at times.
  20. Yea if we had options, it would be great to move on from Bond. But if he comes back without it breaking the bank, we could really use his speed element and he would hopefully know the offense better next year.
  21. On Judkins' first TD run of the game, Bill Norton has penetration, but is held and Judkins strolls in right next to where the hold is happening. No call. We held a few times in pass pro with no call as well, but OSU definitely leaned into it. So much so that they actually got called for a couple. I called it before the game though, they've been doing it all through the playoffs and the refs haven't been calling it on anyone.
  22. Love Banks, but he isn't a generational LT. He's really good in pass pro due to his IQ, athleticism, and above average length, but not overly dominant as a blocker.
  23. Quinn did enough as a starter to help us get back into the national spotlight. He's not a guy you can rely on to win a game against any decent opponent. Thankful for his contributions, and I wish him the best going forward.
  24. He's gone, but Bond could really benefit from another year in college. It probably won't make him a better practice player though. Oh well, on to bigger and better things hopefully.
