  1. our defense is playing like they are tip toeing on a hockey rink....same shit on that fake punt.... don't fucking dance around an allow the least evasive cat on the field to blow right by you, with purpose. Very strange vibe to start.
  2. wow. We're now advocating for our players to be hurt all the way from the euphoria of last week. Y'all chill. We got this unless the referees get serious about fucking these third down stops. Then we may have a problem.
  3. I have it on good authority that a plurality of Big 12 assistant coaches are secretly discussing among themselves, in anonymity, that Derrick Farmer Weigmann is really a better prospect than Cedric Benson Ewers.
  4. Leach is solid f'n Gold and I'm glad we will be back in a conference with that guy. Angry, impetuous and fast talking, condescending Jimbo is, indeed, best Jimbo.
  5. oh man. The Schadenfreude available on Texags is at full, blown Pulp Fiction Smack 'pure' levels. I can't believe after all of these years that still feels so good, but, Goddamnit,,,,,it does.
  6. Card is also hurt. Not saying he is the answer at QB...but he has clear issues with his footwork and the passes he's trying to make. Our OL allowing the stopping our run game back where the handoff in the shotgun is made is a giant problem, no matter the footwork of any QB. That wildcat is so nonsensical on so many levels in the first place if he never passes it - but - to not only line up in a shotgun with it., and then telegraph it, and THEN to then try some bullshit 'delay, read something ' bullshit with it completely emasculates any effectiveness it might ever have had, which was little in the first place. If Ewers is hurt, 'dressing him out' to take a flight to Lubbock is some JV level 'trickery' and continuing to play an injured Card or that Wildcat Bull shit is pretty fucking infuriating. . This game was lost when the Tech QB was finally hit and fumbled, but out efforted our entire DL to recover his own fumble to actually gain yardage on that play, which of course, led to a converted fourth down and the rest of it. We can't let a guy complete his first fourteen passes in a row. After he completes his first seven, you call fucking time out and realize that your 'film study bullshit' has to be completely scrapped and we need to do something else or this mother fucker is going to do this all afternoon.....which, is of course, exactly what happened.
  7. fuck yes. Just do that all the time and scrap the Wildcat....what's the problem?
  8. The best evar is the Baylor fans blowing their plastic horns at the core dork drum section standing at attention for 'yell practice' in the Baylor Stadium as the Baylor students were rushing the field. I can never find that f'n photo, but it is my all time favorite.
  9. yer s'posed to meet at the "Y at Post Oak" for this sort of thing, as I understand it. Looch is not only a coward, he's a 'new army' coward.
  10. Galindo articulating the fractured sensibilities possibly deflating the '210' as, this is after all, 'his house'.....comes back from the break and more about how they are 'running out of bodies' Nothing at all on Texas, Bijan, the bullshit calls, ....nothing
  11. Galindo fucking despondent that that was incomplete. I've been ambviolent towards the whole 'Galindo sucks' thing and I guess it's occurred to me that I've never been home when he's broadcast these before. I usually go out to watch the game or to the game whenever it's an LHN game. I'm fully on the "how in the fuck is this 'our guy' team now. Fuck this dude.
  12. yeah -....a record amount of 5 stars athletes lined up and fought for spots to be recruited by this juggernaut. What a fucking constant embarrassment to this State. Bailed out by the refs to keep from losing, but have been exposed as 'ain't shit' ......again.
  13. God - these dudes look like fucking shit. Worse that I was hoping they would.
  14. Broken my collar bone 3 times. Not sure that 'spraining it' was an option. I'm obviously hoping for the best. Back when I was doing that, I would not have been walking around casually that way..they put a hella "brace" around my neck and under my arms and walking around cazsh in a golf shirt would not have been an option. I'm sure medical science has evolved quite a bit, but if he broke that thing, he's going to have a hard time sneezing or taking a shit or a shower, let alone playing a football game for a while. I'm obviously hoping it's not that. I'm encouraged from my own experience watching him on the side lines not having a hard time taking steps with his shoulder's strapped back like scarecrow. Proud of this team today and no, that does not mean that I 'like losing'. We look WAY better on defense and on the OL than I had thought and that's progress and I'm POSITIVE the recruits we invited LOVED what they saw.
  15. they seem to be desperately trying to blame the refs, even though the refs, even in their own warped world, were completely responsible for points being taken off the board for 'the sips'....it's quite the 'dichotomy' for them and the result is that we are 'both over rated' while they are losing to App State.
  16. they are pretty much blaming the refs. Despite the obvious. Doesn't really matter, that's all they know how to do as their 'world view' is once again exposed. Hiding under the skirt of a team that we are what 7-2 against and those two losses occurred when our starting QB was removed from the game due to injury? "SEC. SEC., SEC" ain't really shit but fixin' to get better upon our arrival, unlike how the 'needle moved zero' since aggy has arrived.
  17. Don't usually go in for this sort of thing. But this is so disgustingly bad that any recruit anywhere that might need to see this b4 they make a decision about where to spend their formative years really needs to have as much information as possible. This is what aggy looks like in their natural habitat. Posting b4 it's taken down (if it's taken down. Hell, that might be a looch sock for all I know.
  18. where have you gone Bill Shoening? Our nation turns their lonely Eyes to you.
  19. Pretty sure this one goes back as far as the Kansas-Nebraska Act, Dred Scott and possibly Josey Whales. The hate between these two States is palpable, still, and the 'real Kansas City,' sitting in Missouri, probable doesn't 'set well with family and sech' [/Written in my Netflix "Ozarks" Poppy Field owner's fake accent]
  20. we literally do know though. one guy didn't play CFB or NFL football, the other two did. except I literally didn't say, imply or even believe quietly that AI was a better collegiate or NFL QB than either of these guys. this is getting semantical and silly. I was just pointing out that Allen Iverson, his time on the field, vs. Mike Vick was close., with Iverson having a distinct advantage from the 'round the fire pit' stories told vs. Johnny...not so close. IN HIGHSCHOOL AS A PROSPECT ONLY I will endeavor to be more literal moving forward. I beg your pardon. here, maybe this helps https://www.sportscasting.com/allen-iverson-shocked-nba-fans-absurdly-bold-claim-forgotten-football-career/
  21. Well...the 'arguably' part was put there on purpose. When the two played Virginia HS football, many 'argued' that AI was the better player, more talented, better prospect...etc. Of course he didn't compare at the collegiate or NFL levels, but when he did compare (HS quarterback) , he more than held his own...hell, it's almost ubiquitous in Virginia football lore (albeit, one of those 'legend' stories wherein the 'fish' gets larger the more time passes) that he was the 'show' in that part of the country in HS football....and, yes, a quick look at his film and Manziel's at Tivey will be even more of a contrast in abilities. Either way....agreed.....he wasn't a better collegiate football player nor NFL player than either one of those guys. Didn't mean to imply otherwise. We'll never know. I was only referring to the time he did spend in the game, not the time he didn't. Peace.
  22. I think we lost by 3 on a last minute field goal and it rained. Jimmy Buffett Concert later that night at South Park Meadows. But Westbrook barred zero and despite Mackovic's 'lack of give a shit about the defense'., we seemed to have that 'Tony Brakens' type of A-List defenders who could pop a mother fucker in the mouth (Norman Watkins) always around back then. Aaron Humphrey, Casey Hampton, Sean Rogers, Pat Fitzgerald, Chris Akins. Brockemeyer and Dan Neil... Of course Ricky and Priest.. Mackovic brought a bunch of "OG 'pipe hittin' mother fuckers" into this camp, for a "'white wine and pine nut pasta eatin' yankee" Phil Dawson was even a tough son of a bitch. Just noticed that Vacek was on that team too. Don't understand him didn't get his kid over here.
  23. And Iverson was arguably better at football than Mike Vick and a WHOLE lot better at football than Johnny Manziel.
  24. Obviously the news is awful and can't be spun any other way...but us running the 12 personnel package might be the best case, even with everyone healthy, and this might further encourage that, even without Roshon. Get the defense spread out wider to the edge and let Bijan have all the gaps belong to him. Again..in no way suggesting this is 'good news'...but there is that and going into the 12 personnel package would've definitley sidelined one of our wideouts. Was hoping it wouldn't be this one, but still.
