  1. Fire in the sky, the alien movie, fucked me up as a kid. I couldn't get through IT, had to give that one a DNF as a kid
  2. Actually in the physical book the author has a note basically saying that you aren’t supposed to understand it, it’s just a tool to show how confused Carl and party are. I struggled with that as well but once I stopped paying attention to how the trains worked and just listened to the story it was way better. All the other floors are much more straightforward for the most part
  3. I let my daughters watch Ghostbusters last Halloween (8 and 6). It had been a while since I had watched it, and figured the more adult raunchy humor would go over their heads, but they would get a kick out of Slimer and the Stay Puft marshmallow man. It was listed under the "Family" genre was and only rated PG, fuck it. I remembered being scared of the librarian ghost jump scare as a kid so I warned them before and they closed their eyes, no big deal....what I was NOT prepared for and didn't remember was the semi exorcist-esque scene where Sigourney Weaver is possessed by Zuul and speaking in the demonic voice before eventually turning into androgynous David Bowie cosplay...that was a mistake
  4. Ya I just don’t know how they can afford it full live action once it gets to the gate of the feral gods. Training grounds, over city and iron tangle seem relatively easy to get done as long as they are committed and have the budget. Hope it’s on HBO but I think it will be on Hulu because of Seth McFarlane, which seems alright. Fits with the FX comedy style with always sunny, but hope they don’t lean too into comedy and miss some of the more emotional moments
  5. I need it to be with the invincible animation style in the dungeon but then switches to live action when they are in a safe room or interview or outside of the dungeon in general. Kinda like space ghost coast to coast
  6. I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Dont love the animation style but still worth the read-
  7. That is an illegal copy. They are audible exclusive and trust me, you will want to listen to that version. I think @immamac may have a copy...
  8. Wait till you see the plan he has in place to frame Ojo for stealing copper from construction buildings, or the blueprints we are drafting to frame Lamar Brown for putting invasive fish into Louisiana swamps around Baton Rouge
  9. This isn't as far-fetched as you make it sound; that Georgia poster has us dead to rights unfortuantely. @closetojumping position with the Texas One Fund is similar to how Gustavo Fring utilized Mike Ehremntraut, general muscle/security, plus competitor subterfuge. CTJ was actually in the backseat of Calicuts' 2014 Kia; he just kept gaslighting him, saying, "Bet you won't shoot him pussy. Bet you won't" as they were leaving the McDonalds parking lot
  10. Seems some posters on here have been taking All Gas, No Brakes a little bit too literally. Between all this Georgia talk and lead-foot surly posters, it is a bad time to be a motor vehicle
  11. That will get less and less as it goes along, especially after book 2. I didn’t care for some of those elements at first as well, keep going
  12. HUGE! Bags are back to irrelevancy
  13. Brad from Macon wants to suck the dick straight off of Ol Pawwwwwl's pelvis
  14. Love Ready Player One, also Project Hail Mary is a great audio experience. Nothing holds a candle to DCC on audio, I just finished my second relisten and just started at the beginning again. @immamac is flying through the books at an unheard of speed lol
  15. Absolutely worth the audiobook, I think there is a whispersync or something like that when you get the kindle version the audio is super cheap
  16. Saw a screener of this one and it’s wayyyy better than the first and I liked the first. Urban is great, more action major spoiler
  17. Five point pizza in Nashville is excellent
  18. It has been nearly 4 years since Horns with Heart and the Pancake factory. Hell Banks and Williams are in the NFL already...and they STILL don't understand that every single thing that we did was completely, utterly and entirely legal and above board by the letter of the law and cleared by Texas compliance, NCAA compliance...oh and the mother fucking IRS. It truly is astounding that they think we were acting shady while they were coming off the biggest bag dropping recruiting cycle of all time
  19. It will happen eventually. Previously, IIRC the issue was supposedly practice space, Moody could definitely be used for competitions, but not for practice. Then of course its all Title IX shit and we opted for sand volleyball instead. My wife and kids are super into gymnastics and have been dying for a team. I haven't gotten an update on that in a long time but I will definitely ask
  20. There is nothing flat about Ketchs feet. They are extremely round due to the lymphedema
  21. Two guys. Spoke with DJ a couple of months ago and he used the same comp. Atkinson trained with DJ and he said that he is basically a clone of himself
  22. You won’t regret it
  23. Today was NOT a good day Moroknek, Freeman and Dotson are gone
