  1. Big ten Makes sense. I would much rather play Washington than Texas.
  2. Horns by 90. Can’t fucking wait to watch Sark dial up a masterpiece to shut these stupid fucking Seahawks fans up for good.
  3. Not really sure what Michigan can do much better in the second half. Gotta be an uneasy feeling kicking off to Alabama only up 3 after dominating the first half. Going to be interesting to see what Saban does with the offense.
  4. No quick screens or anything remotely quick to try and get them to back off. What happened to the Reese we were all told made major steps as an OC post Texas loss?
  5. Agreed. I would be surprised if they let him take enough risks to get to that #.
  6. Something I’ve noticed over last 24 hours: CFP RSVP prices are dropping fast for all four teams. I’m guessing folks who got in early are trying to lock in profit vs gambling on one more game. Going to keep an eye on this throughout the day and may strike if this trend continues and the outcome starts to become a bit clearer in the Mich/Bama game.
  7. Given those implications, it makes Campbell coaching that game like a Madden player who discovered meth even crazier. Nobody will talk about the mistakes he made all night. Much easier to go after McCarthy (to be fair he was probably even worse at points).
  8. The most amusing part of all of this is that if this happens and benefits Dolphins or some other innocuous team it has maybe 25% of the faux outrage. The Refs have been horrible all year. They were horrible tonight. If this game is called remotely fairly Lions aren’t in a position to even blow the game themselves.
  9. Just re watched that last cowboys drive. The mis called tripping on Hendershot was the most egregious thing done by refs tonight. Make the correct call (or just don’t make the blatantly wrong one) and Dallas just knees it out next few plays.
  10. Campbell being hyper aggressive fucked them all night. Going for it in the first half by running four dogshit plays inside the ten was mind numbingly stupid and they chased those points all night. The lions will get spanked by the first team with a pulse they play in the playoffs. Dallas fucked themselves time and time again or it would have been ugly tonight.
  11. Lions just ran out of time?
  12. You hit the nail on the head. I think the time to try and middle options and get creative was probably two months ago before the RSVP’s got crazy expensive. I’m anticipating pulling the trigger in some capacity before Monday so I appreciate the insight.
  13. Wish I would have known about the CFB RSVP site earlier in the season. Will definitely be something to keep an eye on in the future. The $1,440 for a Texas lower level RSVP now puts the total cost including face at $2,190. Not a ton of potential savings on the bone at that point given the risk. You'd be better off just betting the $2190 on Texas Moneyline and either be down $2190 if they lose or have $3400 to spend on a better seat after factoring in winnings if TX wins. Buying any Texas RSVP at these prices is basically just gambling in another form.
  14. Pretty amusing that somewhere a large sect of Aggies who are watching this are thinking “Thank god we got Elko instead”
  15. SMU trying very hard to submarine a ton of potential points..
  16. That makes sense. I can only imagine the fuckery around payment processing and micro transactions that occurs around the country with this stuff. Appreciate the insight.
  17. I think that a one time TOF 50/50 raffle could be a great way to rake in a quick influx in cash to pad the coffers while also reaching a broader audience of casual fans who may not be aware of the NIL efforts beyond the "Arch Manning makes 2.8 milly" type of tweets. I know of another non profit in Texas who ran something similar and had pretty surprising results. Although I'm sure the idea of mixing anything remotely related to gambling and NIL fundraising efforts would get shut down super quickly. So assuming that would be a no go, has any thoughts been given to a silent auction type of event to raise for TOF? I'm sure that with the vast variety of professionals and resources on this site and offline it wouldn't be hard to get an attractive package of tickets, services and memorabilia to bid on. It may be easier to draw in large business to donate services, tickets, etc as well rather than straight NIL $ and could be a good way of starting to break into those communities. I'm sure all of this has been gone over somewhere ad nauseam. Appreciate all of the efforts, donate currently to BE and TOF but will be increasing both after seeing the results on and off the field. It's insanely impressive what has been built in a short period of time. I've got some insight into the Country Roads Trust at WVU and outside of a big initial surge from Ken Kendrick (owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks) and some of his buddies, they are struggling mightily to attract donors at every level.
  18. Morgantown was a fun road trip. Have yet to meet anyone who went who didn’t have a blast. That being said, they can rot in the Big 12 and won’t miss playing them a single iota.
  19. I’m also assuming that no matter where you sit at NRG outside of dedicated rose bowl champ sections (which these tickets aren’t in) that you’ll be by enough Texas fans.
  20. You may as well buy a Bama and a Michigan at those prices. You still get a ticket if Texas makes it and if they don’t you can still try and recoup some of your money by selling to a Michigan or Bama fan.
  21. If those tickets aren’t being distributed until Jan 5 this may be even more of a bloodbath than anticipated.
  22. What a bizarre sequence of plays. This is why bowl season is fantastic.
  23. How can they spend longer reviewing this one than the last one?
  24. Pete Carroll will be in Seattle longer than Deboer. I can understand why this is upsetting, but this is what happens when you root for a mid tier program and employ a commodity. One year of playing teams with real resources in the Big Ten and he’ll see the glass ceiling the same way Sark did.
