  1. You're doing incredible work. I volunteered to help w/ vaccines at a school last week and felt pretty spent after 4 hours, much less 14.
  2. Any idea why they're abandoning one of their party's core values (i.e making it more difficult for people to vote)?
  3. It is a constant embarrassment being represented by this dumb asshole racist motherfucker.
  4. A lot of people hated on his presidential campaign but I liked what I heard out of him at the debates.
  5. I would say it's unlikely that Barnes runs at this point. I think he may have his eye on the Governor's seat, and as Evers' right-hand man, he's been given a ton of responsibility and input. He's very young and has a bright future, and while he's ambitious, I don't think he thinks he can skip to the head of the line like Lasry does. Between the two announced candidates – Tom Nelson and Alex Lasry – I far prefer Nelson. He's the fiercely progressive county executive in Outagamie County, a county that went 54/44 Trump/Biden. I worry about name recognition and whether or not he'll get out the Black vote in Milwaukee, but he'd make a great senator.
  6. Can't remember the last time our bench had viable attacking options on it, so that's nice to see. Strange that Rhys Williams makes the bench ahead of Nat. Massive three points tonight. Let's get it boys.
  7. Doubt he'll do it but I'd really, really like to see Fabinho in the midfield against Chelsea.
  8. https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/how-ivanka-trump-and-donald-trump-jr-avoided-a-criminal-indictment Obviously this case is considerably higher profile, and Vance looks to be releasing the hounds, but it's fair to be skeptical given Trump's history.
  9. Milwaukee Bucks' Executive Alex Lasry Enters U.S Senate Race 33-year old son of a billionaire, who never lived in Wisconsin until his dad bought the basketball team and made the taxpayers pay for the stadium. Sounds about right. He's only the second candidate to announce, but he has the support of a couple of prominent Black leaders in Milwaukee (County Exec David Crowley and the President of the Milwaukee County Common, Chevy Johnson), which I'm guessing means that Mandela Barnes will not be running. That's a real shame because Barnes is fucking awesome and is a name recognized statewide. (He's currently our lieutenant governor.) Lasry will lose to Ron Johnson if he wins the nomination.
  10. It was our away leg but the score is 2-0. Away goals is the tiebreaker so we're in great shape.
  11. Hell yes. 2-0 away* win is an incredible result for a team desperate to find its form.
  12. These guys are such fucking turds.
  13. So who starts at CB against City? Seems unlikely that either of the two new guys get the nod but it would be real nice to have Hendo back in the midfield. Fabinho might not be available and if he's not, then wtf do we do? Hendo/Davies seems the most likely in that scenario; Davies is older and more experienced than Kabak, he's a native English speaker, and he's faced City before. Either Kabak or Davies is a better option that Phillips or Williams but it does seem pretty crazy to throw them into the first XI in our most important match of the season.
  14. Ozan Kabak: ‘It’s try before you buy’ for Liverpool Welp
  15. Ben Davies sounds like a helluva signing. Here's a deep dive into his strengths and weaknesses:
  16. Some interesting ideas about how we could keep the filibuster but have it not actually be a total piece of shit: Fine, Keep the Filibuster. Kill the 60-Vote Requirement Instead.
  17. I guess the only good thing about these pussies is that they will all absolutely flip and rat on anyone they know. Should be easy to get tons of info on these morons.
  18. So which GOP senators will hurt their reelection campaign most when they inevitably vote against convicting Trump? Does it even matter?
  19. I'm not sure if he's going to run again or hang it up, but I'd be pretty surprised if an out-of-touch nutjob like himself would voluntarily retire. Unless the writing on the wall was size 600 Comic Sans, I doubt that dipshit could read it. The other thing is that people in Wisconsin barely even recognize his name, even though he's the senior senator here. Last poll I saw said something like 35+% of WI residents "have no opinion" on the guy, which is absolutely wild considering he's been in office for 10 years. He may have hurt his chances by trying to steal the election for Trump but other morons like Hawley and Cruz have provided him cover. As much as Johnson should be forced to resign, the only public calls seem to be for the former two pieces of shit. The guy to keep an eye on is Mandela Barnes, our young, Black Lt. Governor who you may recognize from the DNC. He hasn't announced yet but I would imagine he'll run and if he does, he should sew up the nomination pretty easily. He was great on the campaign trail, even in rural areas, and he'll drive massive turnout in Milwaukee and Dane Counties which is our best road to winning.
  20. So the guy who blocked the Emmett Till Antilynching Act took umbrage at the President calling out white supremacy? Weird.
  21. Yeah, there's no fucking way that thought is going through Donald Trump's head right now.
  22. I'm absolutely not a Lincoln Project Guy but I'm pretty sure they're going to go nuts on most of these Republican assholes when they're up for reelection. Every single one of them needs to be blasted with footage of white supremacists breaking into and looting the Capitol Building.
  23. You joke but my uncle died in the War on Christmas.
