  1. Bobby Layne was hung over every game he played...well...except ones he wasn't drunk. It didn't seem to bother him.
  2. Well...the very same forces that might take down the GOP would be the same ones that devastate any attempt of the Dems to govern...especially this particular corrupt and pathetic version of the Dems.
  3. They probably need to find a way for all this AI to pay for itself at some point to prevent that. Or maybe not. Actually selling a product or providing services to generate a profit seems weirdly detached from the stock market which seems to operate in some weird fever dream disconnected from the economy.
  4. I miss the old days where the year after a Presidential election was a quiet year where the tension lessened for a bit, everybody was friends again for a short time. I used to really look forward to that after a long exhausting campaign with everybody at each other's throats. Not anymore! The show never stops.
  5. Watergate might have been the last time.
  6. One of the things you could count on Libertarians for was being right on civil liberties. I guess fuck that. So what are they even good for? Giving more power to our corrupt big tech overlords I guess. For freedom.
  7. Jesus Christ. You just can't count on anybody these days.
  8. The fact that nepotism, complacency, incompetence, and the seeming indifference to actually doing a great job has infected farming to this degree is...well not too terribly surprising. I think what I found disheartening is the notion that if you do actually really want to do farming utilizing all the latest tech and science you really can't, the barriers to entry are just too high. I don't know how true that is, maybe some farmers here can say something. So these morons who inherited everything are who we have to rely on along with monopolies who haven't updated their infrastructure in 50 years because, well, they don't have to.
  9. Kash Patel was hired because he was a loyal ass kisser. His competence was completely unrelated. Same as the others.
  10. Famous But Incompetent? We'll see. I also have too much contempt for the media thinking they would think to check something as archaic as message boards. But maybe you are right. Maybe even posting here is a bad idea.
  11. Thank you. Him being shot is a disaster for his family and for our country. The fact that his ideologies were gross and really he was nothing more than another clout seeking debate bro at the end of the day is frustrating when you see him being romanticized and put up on a pedestal. Like even if he was a debate bro whose ideology I liked I would find that uncomfortable. As far as the DEI stuff is concerned you have to understand why I am extremely bitter and cynical about it. Back when quotas and affirmative action were a thing, I was assured that the second we got rid of those the racist shit people would give black people who were in any position that wasn't a stereotypically black one would end. That they would be given the respect they were due. Nope. We got rid of all that stuff and people just invent new reasons to assume that black people don't deserve shit. Almost as if they think black people are inferior and come up with excuses to cover up that true belief. It is the same old shit. Especially today where nepotism, corrupt buddy networks, and incompetence are the name of the game in almost every profession and field.
  12. And we are not all posting on our social media accounts using our real names. You have to be pretty stupid to post controversial things on your social media accounts post-2014 IMO.
  13. Damn. Political cartoons sure are dark these days.
  14. Yeah sounds like you will lose your job or be expelled from school. Cancel culture. The Democrat Ideology? I wonder what that might be. Do what our donors want while paying lip service to our voters.
  15. Yeah that sounds like carte blanche on every institution to police all speech.
  16. Bro. If only. Seems like we have an incident like this every couple months. But here is hoping this is a watershed that ends political violence. Everybody isn't exactly talking like that though.
  17. Ok...it wasn't a tragic deal somebody was gunned down in cold blood? What is the appropriate take you are looking for? Anyway try having a real conversation instead of just coming in ready to be a belligerent dick.
  18. Yeah those debates were not exactly honest discussions. But we all kept talking to him anyway. Not that we get much credit for that.
  19. I didn't see anybody in the past 80 pages saying otherwise. Plenty of people I don't like I don't want to be killed. Especially because this dude was still young, he might have come around eventually. It was just a tragic deal.
  20. Trans people being responsible for inflation? Dude just kind of said things, didn't he?
  21. Everybody's brain in this country seems broken. But let me know where the non-broken brained people are.
  22. I think we can all agree him being killed was bad.
  23. You are absolutely right. He did not deserve to be killed in that way, nobody does. Unfortunately it is increasingly common in this country to be taken out that way.
  24. It was bad for twitter warriors to do mean things to people because of stuff they said. And...to some extent they did go over the line. I hated that shit. But...the government doing cancel shit is so much worse. Talk about hypocrisy.
