At some point the players have to make plays. Moore and Washington cost us points today.
The DL is an absolute crisis, and we must have fresh bodies next year who can disrupt. Transfer portal, five stars, whatever it takes. Play them right away. Because these bums ain't it.
The wind has knocked out the stop lights at all of the intersections on and around W7th. They're all flashing red and so of course the intersections are full of the usual idiocy, as no one knows what to do.
I'd avoid the area for a while if you can.
All you have to do is eat carnival food for seven years, and you too can afford a down payment and a wedding ring!
God Bless America!
Extreme savers are fucking weirdo losers.
I'll do the same, but that place has been dying a slow death. I know the service industry is struggling to get good labor, but I think the waitresses at Fred's all have IQs below 40. I am a patient customer but it's been a beating in there lately.
In 25 years of going to this game I don't think I have ever wanted to get food at the Cotton Bowl. And if so I just went to the food court at halftime.
Why are yall not gorging at the fair before the game, with the billions of options all around the stadium? Or are you incapable of going two hours without stuffing food in your face?
Some of you worry warts are making the trek thru Fair Park and into the Cotton Bowl sound more daunting and challenging than the storming of Omaha Beach.
If you've been going to this thing for years and you still can't figure out how to do it right without arriving at 6am you need to take some lessons from others.
It's been the same for us for years. Hotel bar bloody mary(s) at 7. DART around 730 from downtown and wax cups & Fletchers in hand and meeting up in the Food Court by 830am. That gives a good solid two hours of bullshitting and beer pounding before walking out of the Food Court, into the stadium, and in seats as the Longhorn band takes the field.
