  1. Big day for Lockheed I guess
  2. At what point does Iran decide to go ahead and last out at the other Gulf Countries that have been happy to sit on the sidelines?
  3. I had to explain to Reuters today that fucking up the meat packing labor force is negative for the cattleman and the consumer today. Feels like that should be pretty obvious with having to call various commodity brokers.
  4. I saw and enjoyed it. Loved the Myself I feel very safe, and the Hand grenade bit. Will say that I’m personally in the tank for both Wes and Paul Thomas as far as Anderson’s go
  5. Speaking of stuff that gets into somethings skin and can cause pain.
  6. They'll be able to stay on top of that a lot better in buildings than range livestock.
  7. We need to put some of the stuff that should be grass back to grass in Eastern Kansas, SE Nebraska etc, that got tore up for from crop production. I keep asking myself if I hate myself enough to put up a hoop barn, and do confinement cow-calf as a side project if we aren't going to do that.
  8. Will see if this confirms the high is in. Broke back sharply off all time highs on feeders last week. We were already very tight on supplies before this came about, and due to poor weather the cattle cycle was already very slow in expanding. Biggest bright spot might be heavier numbers of dairy cross stress as dairy expansion levels out to buy sometime along with better pig and chicken numbers into fall to offset beef prices. Will also see if we lose a packing plant with a lot of places already running short weeks, and the new plant tied to Wal-Mart opening up in North Platte, NE to absorb supplies.
  9. Could a guy send the Conclave a few 30 racks of High Life, and a couple of cases of Slim Jims to help them enhance the atmosphere?
  10. I bet he’s implanted like you would with a steer in the feedlot
  11. Saw what you want, but the guitar tone on Stanglehold is pretty bitchin
  12. Or he digs in and fixates on the goods trade deficits because that's the only thing he's truly hung up on, and CFIT's the economy.
  13. In a bit of a treat for me, grains are doing next to nothing and livestock doesn’t open until morning
  14. My wife loves nothing more than getting the best deal possible
  15. I finally got a Costco membership, will see if that helps or hurts
  16. They are limit down, so people are selling the shit out of them(albeit from all time highs) because of demand concerns.
  17. Futures cease trading on live cattle at a 6.50 move up or down, feeders at 8.25, and hogs at 4.00. You can trade it synthetically with options but futures lock at those prices. If they settle locked limits expand by half the next session. Same model is in place for the grains, but limits shift quarterly based on the prior 3 months ranges.
  18. We are locked limit on fats, feeders, and hogs today. First time since 22 that we've done all three the same day, and it might have been since 20
  19. As long as Trump has been in the bully game, you would have thought he would have leaned to isolate and pick on one at a time instead of surrendering your size advantage to try it with everyone at once.
  20. Busy getting margin from my cattle feeders mostly. Mostly because we are more sold at these prices because slowdowns are bad for beef consumption and cattle prices even if we are down on numbers
  21. You just roll with whatever Grandpa picked when he had enough money to buy his first tractor for the most part.
  22. Get to rural school, and it gets real wild when you have to pick a truck and a tractor brand.
  23. I’m going to get a good laugh if my wife’s friend that got stranded in Brownsville because of flight delays from the last one, got stranded again from this one as he has to fly to cities affected by Musk often
  24. feels like if you get a bad jobs number tomorrow that will be the catalyst for the next leg down.
  25. Just want to point out that if you are getting yelled at out in Oakley Kansas, where the last Democrat that was voted for President locally was FDR’s first term, and Carter was the last to crack 40%, and the last to exceed 21% was Dukakis in a bad drought year, shits going to get bad.
