One of my neighbors growing up was the murder part of a murder-suicide yesterday where the ex-boyfriend ignored the restraining orders and shot her and then himself in the yard, and the mailman found them when dropping off a package
Sure a Jewish guy, a Greek, and two Indonesian/Dutchman can run with the Satan and no one bats an eye, but Lil Nas X interacting with him is apparently too far for some reason
I’ll note that I’ve got a side trip to Baxter Springs slated too, because of going to visit friends of my fiancé just because I wanted to see a hellraising town in Southeastern Kansas
I'd also like to mention here that I drove from Lincoln, NE to Giddings via Archer City just so I could visit his bookstore, and take pictures of downtown Archer City. Worth every second of having to drive through SW Oklahoma to do it. Edit: That side trip also introduced me to Ray Wylie Hubbard too

I believe him to be the greatest American writer of the 20th Century. I'm very glad I drove through Archer City on my way to Giddings from Nebraska about a decade back to go visit his book complex, and see the sights. My particular favorites were the Duane Moore(The Last Picture Show, etc.) and Danny Deck series (All My Friends are Going to be Strangers), but eveything he wrote was great.
Supposedly he's already married into bigtime Chicago money, so he doesn't need the pay raise or the pressure when he's got a good thing going in a basketball talent hot bed.
I found a number of stories second hand quoting Kris saying he didn’t remember it happening and then going on to talking to Toby and his wife, so it probably did happen and he just realized that he’s rather not talk about Toby Keith anymore
NE Kansas is possibly the best spot to farm because you still get the Kansas discount, but your pretty close to Iowa yields and rains, without Nebraska's property tax, +right on the river for export along with access to multiple soybean crushers and ethanol plants, + specialty corn buyers if you are so inclined.
Varies widely, but top end irrigated ground that can push 280 bu corn, is still below 250 cash rent for the most part. You have better property taxes than neighboring states too. You get out west and your cash rent is in the 30-50 per acre range, and irrigated is still in the low 100's for stuff that will push 200 bpa.
Once we get past weed, can we get on the stick with mushrooms too? Probably do us all some good to eat some and watch Muppet reruns after the past year
