  1. Fuck yes. I saw that ball bouncing back toward Reyna and I was like, "Please, Gio, no extra touches. Just heeet eeet!" He did not disappoint.
  2. Please edit that to include this one, too, boss. Longer version that includes a lovely reverse angle. Incredibly well hit goal, even better than I thought live.
  3. OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIOVANNI REYNA es el rey de Mexico!!!!
  4. Wright looking tired. Would love to see a Pepigol.
  5. Anybody follow Puli on Twitter? Could you do us a fave and politely request that he yields USMNT free kick duty to someone else?
  6. Commented on this before, but starting back in 2021, whenever the US fields its "A side" against El Tri, Mexico trades out its possession-oriented strategy and prefers to let the US see more of the ball in hopes of catching the Yanks on a counter--the very playstyle the USMNT has historically employed against the Mexicans that they've often criticized us for. Love seeing the improvement.
  7. Definitely up there with Feilhaber's one-timer against El Tri in ... 2008?
  8. FUCKING GOLAZO!!!! AZO AZO AZO!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Wait until you see the videos of him cracking the walnuts ...
  10. I like this ref so far. Very cynical. Possibly even favorable. Keep up the good work, sir.
  11. I took advantage of a free Paramount+ trial ... 7 days, but if you don't cancel before then, you'll have to pay a sub fee. So just cancel after today's stream.
  12. So how's this gonna play out? It's Mexico and Puli is involved, so I expect at least one goal and shirt removal from him.
  13. Avoiding all the negativity going on right now with the program, its coaches and its players, wanted to take a moment to sing more praise for this kid. At season's start, he was all energy and athleticism but also often out of control. The more PT he got, however, the more improvement he demonstrated. It's no understatement to say Chendall was the Longhorns' most impactful player during the postseason. Still needs to work on his shot and handle, but I'm confident he will given his in-season growth. Looking forward to it and also looking forward to him making millions in the NBA. Keep working!
  14. In this portal/one-and-done era, what a fucking windfall it is to have a player like Zach Edey--huge and dominant enough to be great at the college level but not good enough to project well to the NBA. Players like him are going to be worth their weight in NIL gold going forward.
  15. Did you mean to say DDT, the pesticide that was banned in 1972? DEET is the active chemical in most bug repellants, like OFF!
  16. Quick thought on Zakai Ziegler: We Texas fans are always wishing for taller guards, but Ziegler showed that a sub-6-foot guard can be hugely impactful even when he's having a poor shooting night. He dropped some beautiful dimes and his perimeter defense was on par with Dogus Balbay and Fredie Williams. Dude had some lightning quick hands.
  17. Welp, if Texas is gonna lose, would rather it be to Rick than anyone else. Stings less. Well done, Mr. Barnes.
  18. Yeah, he used to be a thorn-in-your-side pest, the sort of player who would irritate you all game and force YOU into committing the stupid foul. Not so much this season.
