Is this the highest profile televised event from the Star? Kind think it will look like a football equivalent of those basketball games in hotel ballrooms due to the size of the interior

Speaking of helicopters, Detroit TVs are staking out the jail, so Moore might get the OJ treatment later

Maybe Harbaugh or Venables will hire him as an analyst.
Harbaugh can never forgive the murdering-a-baby thing

The committee will controversially justify whatever they spit up, and if for some reason it changes next week, they'll controversially justify that too. Don't get mad at Rece Davis or Joey Galloway or whoever for not grilling the guy like he's captured Al Qaeda. There is always wiggle room in their policies, it's always subjective and once its pares down to Ohio State, Georgia and a couple others, the rage dies down.
That said, I do think leaving Ole Miss completely out would be earth-changing for the committee (thus they won't do it)

Pretty interesting premise. But while we usually complain mystery shows aren't giving us enough info about what happened (Walking Dead, Lost), this one might have already given too much. Like some of the posts here, I can't stop noticing all the "wait a minute" situations caused by the hive's own explanation of what's happening. I'd kinda prefer it just be "zombie eat brains". But I trust it so far and it's good to see ABQ again

Getting into the ACC was a bit surprising, but that was just money. I would NOT have expected to have wins over Clemson, FSU and Miami in your first 1.5 seasons in the league. I know the whole league is pretty mid, but still surreal

Wait, he flew (or was flown) to Athens, Ga. when they certainly could have done that by satellite. Would have been nice for ESPN to point out that Franklin and Saban are both repped by Jimmy Sexton, who is also on set per McAfee earlier. They basically just did a LinkedIn promo for Franklin on national TV

holy fucking shit that's insane. She's a complete moron and he's just letting her in there.
You should hire her to modernize SurlyHorns.com. She definitely knows the lingo: "click click click click...takes like three minutes"

Perfect premise for Tim Robinson, waging war against a chair manufacturer. He's got a niche and I'm glad he keeps exploiting it

Watch the end for ESPN Deportes with a mustard (mostaza) question lol

Good luck then to the survivors. Tough week to not have GB available, though they almost blew it too. I had WAS but would've probably gone with DAL/PHI or some other loser anyway.

Yeah I was like "your avatar reading your post" on that. Wish it were so

Software don't lie...if it lets me keep picking, I'm in. Don't worry I'll botch it soon enough

That was me with the Packers. I thought ties knocked you out, but I guess not

If they go 0-2 vs Baylor and TCU that is a recruiting nightmare

Every team that plays Ohio State close comes away bitching about red zone play calling. That's their trademark going back years, they seem to revel in getting pushed to the brink then they lock it down. I think it's why you so often see them on the score scroll beating some mediocre team 13-6 in the 3rd quarter before they pull away.
You're partly right - I'm thinking of Penn State damn near every game for the past decade, but also every other decent Big Ten team at some point, and us in the Cotton Bowl and yesterday. If we tried play action or something, Arch would have a defender wrapped around him before he picked his head up. Going grown ass man on them was probably the best strategy, but NOT in the form of a tush push with q QB who squats a-buck-eighty or whatever

I assume it was discussed in the thread, but imagine a Texas football coach walking out for a playoff game in a hoodie with a big basketball on it and no visible "Texas" or Horns logo anywhere. I'm OK with the occasional stupid alternative uniform if recruits like it, but repping a different sport is just weird. And MJ's relevance in the era of LeBron isn't exactly top of mind for the kids either
