  1. Yeah, it *is* cool. They've been doing it for years.
  2. In barely over a quarter, mighty Northern Illinois has put the same number of points on the vaunted Notre Dame defense (while playing at Notre Dame) that aggy scored in an entire game against the same defense in Collie Station.
  3. It was called back
  4. Very satisfying win. Make no mistake -- this was domination. I thought it would be a pretty close game -- somewhere between 3 and 7 points. Very glad to be wrong.
  5. Now we'll get some practice fielding an onside kick.
  6. JFC, how many sacks are our D-linemen going to fuck up?
  7. Taafe is so valuable -- consistently getting teammates in the right positions.
  8. JFC, Sark -- no brakes!!
  9. These fucking refs suck and we still scored a TD. Fuck these blind-ass morons wearing stripes.
  10. Furk. Mukuba was there. Loveland at 6'7" just went up and got it. Sorrell looked like he was moving in slomo at the end of that play.
  11. Gbenda runs right up the back of his D-lineman who has things stacked up instead of filling the hole. SMH
  12. JFC, Sideshow Bert. You're on the right hash, so you're going to have to angle your kick. WTF are you doing kicking it like you're in the middle of the field between the hashes?
  13. Exactly
  14. Biggest giveaway that the "ags are the nicest fans" note is fake is the last line: "If you appreciate military history and ever get the chance to visit the campus, I highly recommend it." So a domer supposedly sends his ag buddy a note that ends with a recommendation that the aggy visit the campus? Hokay . . .
  15. I was gonna say . . . yeah, I think there's a word for it, and I think hookemATL already used it.
  16. If true, that's even better. I'll have to listen to it again. Either way, it's some funny shit that will continue to have the majority of agroids up in arms about Klatt.
  17. It definitely counterbalanced his shot at Weigmann for being "totally fake" in the Dr. Oz Gameday segment.
  18. I agree that it's almost impossible to be certain about player performance without knowing the play call and individual player responsibilities within that call/scheme. There will always be a certain amount of conjecture in that regard. It's possible that Savea, Lole, et al. did exactly what they were tasked to do within the scheme. If I have time (ha ha, things are busy right now), I'd like to go back and focus on the interior D-line and see how they fared in terms of stacking up blockers and avoiding getting turned or pushed off the LOS. I also agree with you that our running game efficiency wasn't that good against CSU. Lots of stuff to clean up. The interior O-line getting beat on several occasions is somewhat worrisome given that both Grant and Graham of UM's defensive line will be playing on Sundays in the future. That's a critical matchup.
  19. One thing I like from Texas' standpoint is that most of this team went through a similar road experience last season (Bama) and came through with flying colors. This won't be the first time most of these kids have experienced a hyped up crowd and top-10 quality opponent on the road. It will help.
  20. CSU had occasional success running between the tackles. They just weren't able to exploit this consistently, in part because they couldn't threaten the Texas defense with downfield passing (all their completions were short routes) to loosen up the defense. Texas was more than willing to give up the occasional 6 yard run in order to do other things, like keep Tory Horton under wraps. Michigan should be a different story if for no other reason than power football is what they do. UM will get yards on the ground unless the interior D-line gets stouter than it was last Saturday. I didn't see the Texas transfer DTs do much at all against CSU. Norton only played a handful of snaps. And I don't recall either Lole or Savea having much of an impact. Maybe I need to watch the game again and focus on them, but I don't recall either of them doing much, including eating up blockers on a consistent basis. Broughton is kind of boom-or-bust. Still comes out of his stance too high, which can lead to a lack of leverage. But he's got nice burst and can be disruptive. He needs to be on the field on passing downs. Keeping Michigan out of short yardage situations on 2nd and 3rd down is the recipe for success, and it starts with the interior D-line being stout. Force that new, unproven Meatchicken QB to beat you. I think I would have preferred that UM beat Fresno handily as opposed to having a tight game because it kind of served as a wake up call to Michigan. I think their defense keeps them in it and it will be a tight game. Texas will win if it can keep the UM running attack in relative check.
  21. What's that green stuff on your plate and why is it there?
  22. True. Very true.
  23. Loved her reaction when that same guy said she had a great ass.
