  1. If they're just "start[ing] the process of building a team" only 30 days before the start of the season, they're way behind. But, then again, they're aggy. They pretty much exist behind the times in all respects.
  2. I liked the concept of the Blair Witch Project. But the execution of that concept almost gave me seizures.
  3. Don't forget Jody Davis. Harry is still singing his Jody Davis Song.
  4. RIP Ryno. And fuck cancer
  5. This will cheer you up -- he's not lonely. He's friends with the songwriter/singer (and some of his friends as well), and they all come over to visit him in his garden. We desperately need a new commitment to get this thread back on track.
  6. Mine was in neighboring Kings Canyon NP. Love the Sierras.
  7. Did two nights up in Sequoia National Forest. Weather was perfect. First photo was taken in the hills east of Bakersfield as I was climbing into the NF. Second one is looking south on a Forest Service road near Piute Mountain. Quite the contrast.
  8. Chump don't want no help, chump don't GET da help!
  9. Jimbo looks like he's been working out during those portions of the day when he's not counting the millions in aggy money he's been paid.
  10. As a Cubs fan, your Dodgers have been a significant disappointment to me due to their abject failure to do a damned thing against the Brewers.
  11. Except that immediately after that reference, the song on the soundtrack is Kashmir . . . which isn't on the IV album. A mistake that has always annoyed me . . .
  12. "Unreliable eyewitness accounts" = four different people who don't know each other stating that they saw her in different places at different times after the boat docked. And at least one of those witnesses saw the tasmanian devil tattoo she had. I'm not sure I agree with you a hundred percent on your police work, there, Lou. Look, I don't know what happened to her, and it's impossible to state definitively what happened to her just from watching that Netflix documentary. My only point is that your "zero evidence" comment simply isn't correct. There is, in fact, substantial evidence that she didn't fall overboard (either assisted or not). The problem is that evidence isn't conclusive. But, then again, neither is the evidence relating to the "she went overboard" theory. (No body ever washed up, all kinds of evidence that she wasn't suicidal, etc.)
  13. Gonna go ahead and disagree with you on this. I thought it was interesting. Not flawless, but interesting. And if you think there is "zero evidence of anything else happening," you're overlooking quite a bit of evidence.
  14. Eat some of the pizza referenced in this thread and you'll get your wish.
  15. Haven't been there myself, but I recall a friend of a friend raving about the scenery, hiking, and rock climbing in Smith Rock State Park, which is about 30 miles north of Bend.
  16. The Victorinox kitchen knives are a great value IMO. The chef's knife has a comfortable handle and does everything a chef's knife should, while being easy to maintain. The paring knife is a damn scalpel. Oh, and check your messages.
  17. It's been difficult to resist buying some kind of edged tool during Prime Days. That's all I've got to say about that.
  18. I've had Weber gas grills for years and years, but I never replaced the flavorizer bars on any of 'em. Am I doing it wrong? What caused you to replace yours? Constant flareups?
  19. Yeah, the Germans were PISSED at his assassination. They burned and/or leveled entire villages. I've read that the total number of deaths in connection with the reprisals exceeded 1,300, and included numerous women and children. Fucking Nazis . . .
