  1. Couple of questions. 1. If Boston could get Kawhi without giving up anything big now, just picks and a decent player or two, could they do anything to GS in the finals? Kyrie, Horford, Hayward, Tatum, Kawhi starting lineup, with an arguably better bench than GS depending on what they gotta give up. 2. Assuming best/worst case for GS, everyone stays healthy, Boogie comes back near 100% and integrates reasonably well, the playoffs are a cakewalk fo fo fo fo. Does KD resign with them in 2019? They have a new arena coming. Wow. What else? Boogie will surely move on to a much bigger contract. They will have to come up with some more money to resign Klay. It could quickly blow apart. Besides what else is there to prove at that point. KD will be 30 in September. Odds of a 7 footer breaking down much younger than Lebron are high. If he wants to win with a 2nd group it will be time to say adios. That's about our best hope for some semblance of parity.
  2. I'm firmly in the Jordan GOAT camp, buuuut, if they don't land another superstar, or that superstar is lane clogger Boogie, and Lebron can drag this dumpster fire to the Finals, I'm ready to eat crow like a mofo.
  3. San Antonio still has some leverage in the east. Kawhi to Philly and they could be as good/better than Boston. Kawhi to Boston and they could be as good as GSW. All depending of course on what they have to give up, will Kawhi sign long term, do they think they can win now or wait a year or two for GSW to be done, etc., The east just got a lot easier without LBJ, so if Kawhi wants a title he'd be better off at Boston, rather than trying to get with LBJ and the Lakers and still have to beat Houston and GSW just to get to the finals.
  4. Celtics need to do whatever to get Kawhi, just to keep Philly from landing him.

  7. Reboot the server, defrag the drive. Somehow a CR thread about Milo has been merged into a non-CR thread about a current event.
  8. I'm looking at the TP9SFX since I wound up with an RMR sight. Everyone seems to rave about the triggers, though lately there's been talk of them increasing the trigger pull weight. There's stuff on forums about which springs to put in it to return it to a very light pull. Anyone buying up their gun want list before sales tax kicks in everywhere?
  9. I found myself humming a little ditty while working in the garage the other day, and I kept asking myself why. Then I realized I had been exposed to a few hours of Yacht Rock the previous few days so I had heard it 3-4 times.
  10. My dad had that Golden Greats album. I played the hell out of that when I was a kid, and fapped a few times to the album cover itself. Not their typical surf sound but I always liked this one as well.

  12. I wonder how much shenanigans goes on between owners and players and owners and owners. Sorry we don't have cap space for you but you'll never pay at any strip club in town.(by reputation Harden could sign for the league minimum and come out ahead) or when you're tooling around the Med on your mega yacht, a small boat will approach when you are south of Marseilles. It will flash it's lights 4 times, and honk twice. That man will have your diamonds. Far fetched yeah. Probably more like your investment firm is struggling to sell out that condo tower they paid too much for. Take a 5mm haircut and 7mm worth will be bought by a friend. Hey fellow billionaire, take Ryan Andersons stupid contract, you're not going to win this year anyway and we'll take whatever, and you can have unlimited Babins and Salt Grass gift cards for life.
  13. Lebron should be scratching Philly from his list. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5877991/Kendall-Jenner-Ben-Simmons-prove-going-strong-seen-leaving-Hollywood-club.html "Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons prove to be going strong as they are seen leaving a West Hollywood club together"
  14. Wow, nice, I've been looking for a place to store my rhodium. (said no one ever)
  15. This list is one of the best I've seen, and not just because there's no Texas cities and Detroit at the top. Lots of Ohio, FL, Cali etc., very well chosen from the travels i've done. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/economy/2018/06/13/50-worst-cities-to-live-in/35909271/
  16. The only reason Golden State would consider it would be to keep him from going to Houston or San Antonio. Sort of what they did with KD. I don't think Kawhi, Lebron and some spares is enough. (they probably couldn't keep Aldridge). If Houston could add Lebron to CP3 and Harden it should be enough, buuut. Yeah they went to 7 this year, and coulda woulda hamstring, but they didn't, and to get Lebron they likely won't have Gordon, maybe not Capela, and they have to sign cheaper spares than say Arriza. Still it's probably enough. So yeah GSW would ship Thompson, or Draymond to a has been east team to keep Lebron from a West rival. If you are Lebron, yeah you love CP3, but do you trust his hamstring? I guess you can trust it as much as you can Embiid to stay healthy. I would love to see Lebron go to Philly and Houston get Paul George but only giving up Ryan Anderson, not Gordon.(doubtful), aaaand keep Capela. Imagine Lebron leading the youngsters against Kyrie in the East finals, and a rematch of Warriors, Rockets in the west but with the Rockets even better and the Warriors a little better on the bench. Glorious for hoops fans. You hoops GM types, could the Lakers trade Lonzo and sign Lebron, CP3 and Paul George? I don't see Paul George, Lebron and the current Lakers being enough. CP3 and Lebron supposedly really want to play together, but if not Houston is there anywhere they can go besides the Lakers?
  17. I would tune in just to watch Lebron try to get his ego under control and play in a system. I think that's why you can count out Golden State(besides 1000 other reasons), and Boston. Strong established coaches that he couldn't so easily push around. It's also probably the reason he is not considering San Antonio. Personally I'm not sure if Golden State had to give up Thompson and Draymond for Lebron, they would be a better team. He could also tarnish he legacy going to Houston and they be worse. That could happen if the offense has to be changed to accommodate him, instead of him fitting into what they are doing. Also Houston has a great defense. Yeah Lebron has made some all defense teams but in general the effort is not there. Maybe playing on a better team, with a better coach, getting his minutes down, he would have enough in the tank to play better D.
  18. One of his advisers probably came in the locker room after game 1 and told him "bad news, they got you on video asking if we had a time out."
