  1. There's no way he plays if he's not cleared by the doctors. Then it's up to him and the family.
  2. Should’ve known better than to open this thread. Arch was fucking awesome in the second half and that fucking ruled. If you didn’t enjoy that or think otherwise get fucked.
  3. I think if we go 9-3, it will likely come down to whether our offense improved down the stretch. If we win a bunch of 17-13 games and our offense continues to play they all met each other 15 minutes before the game, I think there will be end up being enough teams with comparable resumes that we'd get left out on optics. The good news is, we are not going 9-3 and we will probably wake up feeling the cheesiest some time in December.
  4. If Colin Page takes a meaningful snap this year I will live stream my suicide on this forum
  5. Santa Margarita (coached by Carson Palmer) beats Mater Dei 7-6. Mater Dei’s first loss to another Orange County team since 2015. Some slight cracks forming in the MD dynasty. Emmett Mosley’s brother scored the lone touchdown. Pretty nice player.
  6. I'm all for shitting on this staff, but who were the better IDL options in the portal, other than Lee Hunter? When you're filling up that position group with 5-6 guys from the portal, you're bound to get some JAGs. I think the bigger failure is that January is the only playable homegrown player on the roster. That is insane.
  7. Our OL has problem areas, such as pass blocking, run blocking, holding and pre-snap penalties.
  8. I don't know, I think the biggest issue with the Texas football team is that our offensive line wouldn't pass for average in the Mountain West Conference.
  9. The negativity about the coaching staff is dumb? Personnel decisions are made by the coaching staff. They chose to roll with these offensive line and running back rooms, while numerous other teams hit the portal hard at those positions. The players are getting their fair share of blame, but at a certain point drive killing penalties and special teams disasters is on the coaches. This isn't the first year where this was an issue, this is just the first year where we don't have players capable of making massive numerous explosive plays to negate the inability to consistently move the ball. Sark and staff are working with the same resources as Ohio State, Oregon and Georgia and this is Year 5. There's no excuse for the team be this bad.
  10. I assumed Kyle Flood knew better than me when he and Sark would repeatedly hype up the BIG HUMAN thing while signing giant cubes with ankles the size of a cinder block but it appears he absolutely did not. The guy should be gone. I think the writing is on the wall with Sark too. His teams have been as undisciplined as any in the country for his entire tenure, but he had the talent to overcome it the past two years. I don’t think he should be fired, but I expect he will be within 2-3 years.
  11. Definitely a real concern going into the Swamp after... 3 G5 games and a bye week.
  12. That's not really how it works at all, but I think it's probably smart to get all your crowing out before OU plays a team with a pulse.
  13. Anthony Hill had 8 sacks, 19 TFLs and was First Team All SEC last year. Colin Simmons had 9 sacks and 17 TFLs last year and was the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year. Worth noting that they combined for 2 sacks, 6 TFLs and a forced fumble against OU last year. Is your contention that they've both gotten significantly worse based on box score reading from primarily meaningless games so far this year?
  14. 247 says that he's related to Jacquizz and James Rodgers from Oregon State. Those guys were monsters, do very much want this kid.
  15. Miami has been the most impressive team in the country. They have NFL bodies on both lines. Ohio State next and then everyone else looks about the same. We have as good an upside as anyone with the most impressive bodies on defense that I’ve seen, but we don’t look any better than the rest of the pack so far.
  16. This is great, we should just let Grok call plays rather than Sark, who clearly doesn't know a thing about offensive playcalling. @Grok it's 4th and goal on the 1 yard line, should we call the Malzahn play or the Briles play?
  17. Did Neto not play at all? Truly bizarre if not, he's looked fairly capable when he's been in there. Feels like there's a solid OL in here somewhere, but not sure they've found the right combo yet. I feel pretty good about Goosby, Campbell and Baker.
  18. I don't think people boo expecting that to improve the situation. They do it to express frustration when the product on the field is a complete embarrassment. It's really not the fans job to lift up a third year quarterback against group of 5 teams. I attend pretty much every home game and agree that it's counterproductive, but it's just a part of live sports.
  19. Say what you want, but Stroh has established continuity. Continually tripping over his 20 inch circumference ankles and nearly crushing anyone in the vicinity.
  20. That’s why I clarified that UCLA can be competitive in the rev share era. The donor base isn’t actually that bad, it’s just been completely disengaged by Kelly and Foster. They’ve fundraised well for facilities in the past and have plenty of basketball NIL.
  21. Mandel was a Chip Kelly mouthpiece and is still running PR for him. This isn’t completely inaccurate, but UCLA is not an impossible job. Mora was pulling classes around the Top 10 and attendance was decent in the early 2010s. In the rev share era, it should be a mid-tier B10 job.
  22. We literally saw the guy play well over 3 games last year, there’s no way he was playing like this in practice. This level of play is obviously mental, SJSU and UTEP aren’t any better than ULM or MSU.
  23. The idea of rooting for A&M against any opponent is crazy to me. If OU plays A&M, I hope that the team that is situated worse heading into the game wins, but my rooting interest is for both teams to look terrible. I'm close with a few domers and they're not looking at this A&M game as any kind of program statement, whereas the office aggies are doing their typical premature gloating. I'm hoping Notre Dame completely humiliates them.
  24. The Foster hire was so obviously doomed from the start. He's clearly not a good coach, but that fat prick Chip Kelly left him with easily one of the worst rosters in the P4. Pretty clear that the UCLA AD and school leadership are not serious about competing in football, which is a problem when you enter the Big 10. I don't really know where they go from here, but imagine it will be long long down period for the program.
  25. Interesting how often DJ Campbell shows up on the 80+ grade list. Tracks with what we've seen, he can be really great at times. It would just be nice if he could finally put it all together for SEC play, but I'm losing hope .
