  1. This should be a good game, and there will be a lot of enthusiasm in the stands at Ross-Ade Stadium tonight.
  2. I feel like this is going to end up being 51-17 or somewhere very close to that.
  3. Ikaika Malloe is Tuitele's primary recruiter. He's a great d-line coach and very good recruiter. He'd be great here, and it's semi-plausible because he was Utah State's DL coach in 2014 while Orlando was their DC. However, he's a UW alum so he won't come here to relieve us of Giles.
  4. I feel like the increased admissions standards at UT nowadays have sent a lot of normal middle to upper middle class sports fans to aggy or Tech when they would've gone to UT in the past. I guess it could be worse though. After all, we could've embraced becoming an increasingly average degree mill like aggy has embraced so heavily. I'd say that's aggy's rightful role since so many of their students' career aspirations are middle management at somewhere like Exxon.
  5. Yeah, he's @mattywatty01 on twitter. He once argued that he never wanted for them to play us ever again because aggy has strong family values while we're godless heathens or some shit. It was one of the most sanctimonious things I've ever seen. Hell, even some other ags were calling him out for it.
  6. Yeah I see where you’re coming from re: Brokeback Mountain. The producers seem to have an obsession with guy ass. The scene last night with Pope crashing into that lady’s car was unnecessary and far-fetched, but luckily it didn’t take away from the show too much. Also, I think you’re referring to them running off the Brazilians. I’m not sure if they’re part of a cartel or if they were just run of the mill thugs, but that was also far-fetched. I like how they’re moving toward a J vs Smurf storyline for season 4, and it should make the show more interesting.
  7. Yeah, Barkin’s sexual appeal to her boys is really damn weird. I think season 4 will be really good as long as the jobs are more realistic.
  8. Yeah, the jobs in seasons 2 and 3 started getting outrageous. However, the other storylines have been really good, and season 3 ended with some intriguing events. I'd at least give it a try again.
  9. Yeah, I don't really like them either. Everyone is talking about their game against LSU, but nobody is talking about their game at Toledo. Toledo is quietly a solid team, and the Glass Bowl should be packed. They got lucky in their conference schedule because they only have one tough road game (Virginia Tech). They'll probably go 10-2 or 9-3, as is tradition for a Mark Richt-coached team.
  10. The Wyoming-NMSU game might be decent. I think Hawaii is going to get blown out by CSU. No thoughts on the other two, although I'd like to see Mike Bloomgren have some success at Rice.
  11. Mullen will develop either Emory Jones or Jalon Jones (2019) to his liking. I don't get the feeling that he's a National Championship caliber coach, but Florida will be relevant again.
  12. Oregon just got a commitment from 4 star OL Jonah Tau’anu’u. https://247sports.com/player/jonah-tauanuu-46037520 They beat out USC again, and they’ll likely have their best class ever up in Eugene. They just need to hope their annual flip season to USC doesn’t continue for this class.
  13. I definitely agree with you on Notre Dame. I think Wimbush and his backup, Ian Book, are both underwhelming. They lost Josh Adams at RB to the NFL and I don't like his replacements. They lost their two stud o-linemen to the NFL, and they even lost their o-line coach to the Chicago Bears. I think their defense will be solid despite losing Elko, but it won't set the world on fire. I'm thinking they finish either 7-5 or 8-4. As for Penn State, I'm really not sure what to think. McSorley is back, they have two 5 star RBs in Miles Sanders and Ricky Slade, a solid receiving corps headlined by 5 star freshman Justin Shorter, an improved o-line with experienced returning starters, and an OC promoted from TE coach who called a nice game in the Fiesta Bowl. On the other hand, they lost a good amount of production on defense and are thin at LB. I think their DC, Brent Pry, is a very good under-the-radar DC, and he should have them playing well. The reason I'm unsure about them is because I keep having a suspicion that McSorley is overrated and might just be above average this year. As for their schedule, it's manageable because they get most of their difficult opponents at home in Happy Valley. I think they'll lose on the road to Michigan, and they'll probably lose to either tOSU or Wisconsin to finish 10-2. I actually think Clemson is as good as they're billed. Their defense should be a top 5 unit at the absolute minimum; Venables is too good to not field a great unit on that side of the ball with their personnel. As for their offense, I think it could sputter if they stick with Kelly Bryant to start. Their star freshman QB, Trevor Lawrence, seems like a sure-fire stud. They have great receivers and a good RB corps. However, I think their o-line is a bit underwhelming. They have the most continuity on the coaching staff year-to-year out of any FBS team. It just seems too good to fail, but I'm interested to hear why you're skeptical about them. I think they'll lose one game on their schedule, most likely on the road to either FSU or BC (who has a great RB, good o-line, and solid defense). I really don't think they'll win it all this year, but I expect them to make the playoff. As for the CFP, I think we'll see three expected teams and maybe one team that's a bit outside of the box. There has yet to be a playoff with four teams that have all been there before, but there's also only been four iterations of it so far. I think the SEC is fairly predictable, and the winner of a Bama/Georgia SEC championship game will get in (I think Georgia wins the SEC again this year). I think Clemson wins the ACC and makes the playoff. I think the PAC-12 gets left out because one of Washington, USC, Stanford, and the dark-horses fails to separate from the pack. As for the Big 12, I really don't think there's a playoff team this year. I doubt Kyler Murray is good enough for them to go 11-1, especially with their awful defense. I don't think TCU is good enough to break through to the playoff this year either. Also, I doubt Tom Herman has the team in shape to contend for the playoff this year, but I can see a 9-3/10-2 type of season. As for the BIG, I'm high on Michigan with Shea Patterson this year. I think the winner of the Michigan/MSU game ultimately wins the conference title game over Wisconsin. If I'm making a prediction right now, my gut says Michigan wins the BIG and makes the playoff this year. Unfortunately, I think the SEC gets two teams in again this year because Alabama's lone loss will be to Georgia in the SEC championship game. Just typing that makes me sick, but I'm trying to be objective. Anyway, I can't wait to be wrong on over half of these predictions and shake my head in disbelief that I couldn't see what will happen coming as of right now.
  14. LSU has a good track record of getting top recruits out of North Shore. Obviously it's a longshot for them if they keep waiting on Coach O to pan out, but I don't think they'll be patient with him despite their financial troubles. Anyway, I assume there is no clear leader right now. For all we know, Georgia could swoop in and seal the deal.
  15. I’m not connected to this whatsoever, but it seems like he’ll go to LSU if they’re either playing well or can at least sell hope.
