I have 5000 hours in the plane. I know the seating. Again, the front seats face aft if you’re in the 8 seat 45 configuration. Did you spin the chair completely around? Because the person on the right side of the plane in the first row would have a lap full of cabinet if those seats mounted facing forward.
Correct the front right seat very rarely gets used and is facing forward. -
I know, but the front two club seats face aft unless you are in one of a select few 6 seat 45 models. Or you spun the seat entirely around.
This actually seats 11. If you count the seatbelt on the throne and the two pilots up front!
The second and third rows are used for the club seating. -

That’s a special 45 is it doesn’t have rear facing club seats. Let me guess, Flexjet?
It does have club seats. I was in one of the front two seats. -
Random guess: Lear 60?
Close....45 -
Somebody got a free ride in the jumpseat?
Just a regular seat with lots of leg room! -

It grows on you, but it could be priced better.
I have found it priced all over the board. -
I haven’t decided if I like YKY or just like the bottle.
I like them both! -

I'm a big fan of Aubert - same ballpark as Marcassin and Kongsgaard in my opinion. What vineyard and vintage is this one?

Gotcha, I like the reduced framing aspect and the increased thermal mass. I'm a little skeptical on the thermal bridging aspect. Studs are covered by sheathing and a vapor barrier now. How much heat/cool is transferred thru a stud into the house ? Not saying it's not a thing, just wondering how much of a thing it is.
There is quite a bit of heat/cool transferred through thermal bridging. Huber has a really good product, r-sheathing, that eliminates thermal bridging.

horribad is a bit strong. lots more serious winemakers and growers now than even just 5 years ago. fairly rapid progress. lots of shit in Cali, too, they just spend a lot of money on additives and manipulations to get that awesome spiked grape juice America so loves.
Touche...To each their own. Some of the hill country juice I tried years back was not drinkable. I have heard decent things about Calais.

The idea behind this is to reduce the amount of lumber needed to construct a home and at the same time increase the insulation performance of the home. For example most homes have 2x4 studs on 16" centers. Advanced framing uses 2x6 studs on 24" centers. This increases the amount of insulation and decreases the amount of thermal bridging.

So, I’m researching third party inspectors for the pre-drywall inspection and here is what one said.
“Weekley’s reputation has grown tarnished over the years as they have opted into a value engineering technique referred to as “advanced framing”. Burgess has always had a bad reputation in my profession, and with good reason.”
I wonder if there is any truth to that...especially about Burgess(the builder’s third-party inspector) based out of DFW. I asked him to elaborate on Burgess.
Just because one uses advanced framing doesn’t mean it’s an inferior product. It is used to reduce the amount of lumber used and also increases the insulation performance of the house. -
While the wineries in TX are young, i won't say in their infancy, the wine trail here in TX is vibrant and better/bigger than i ever considered or gave it credit for. A few weekends back we hopped around doing tastings and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Whether it was the tasting rooms from non Texas wineries or the Texas wineries we were pleasantly surprised. I couldn't help but feel a bit proud of what are state is producing. If you haven't been in recent years, take the short trip west, you won't be disappointed.
I agree take a trip west to......California or Oregon! The Texas wine scene is horribad. It’s astounding what people will pay for crappy Texas wine! -
I can assure you that Texas and Oklahoma wines....suck
Fixed it for you! -
Found this on the wine list while in DC last week.

Looking to update the furniture in my office. Does anyone have experience with some of the big used office furniture companies in either Austin or Dallas?
-
Did you mix it? There’s a striking color difference between the bottle and the glass.
Heck no. Just poured when I took the pic. -
To each their own, but that’s a lot of ice for my tastes.
Have to make due with what you have when at the beach!
