When Clinton was thought to have been involved in an illegal land development scheme in the 90s, he was investigated by a special counsel.
i know the answer but how in the world can we have smoking guns with Trump being involved in pedophilia, and it’s brushed off as political bs. I still think the most likely story is that Trump was involved in some sleazy situations but that doesn’t mean children were involved.
Define "children". If "unable to bear children" is your definition, then maybe you're right. But now you sound like someone finding a way to justify a fucking monster forcing an underage girl to have sex with him.

The Tulanes and JMUs of the world make it into the playoffs because the NCAA/Big10/SEC lawyers do not want to have to deal with accusations using the words cartel, anti-trust, collusion, etc.
At 12 teams, it is safer to include them and hear the cries and moans of the fans rather than deal with some hypothetical lawsuit.
That said, we have seen 8 teams in the past 2 days. Texas has already beaten 2 of them and would easily handle 4 more. The other 2 (Oregon and OleMiss) might put up a fight, but Texas is in those games.
As noted, last year’s 12-team playoff yielded #5, #6, #7 and #8 in the final 4, with #8 winning. It worked.
So far this year, we have #6, #10, and #11 advancing with #5 a virtual certainty.
The antitrust angle of this is the reason the playoff structure is the way it is. But they have to do something to not let more than 1 shitty team in. I would rather have an 8 team playoff, with top 3 ranked conference champions with auto qualifiers, but wasting a spot on a shitty team when only 7 others qualify doesn't seem right either.
I'm not a fan of going to 16 teams, so 12 teams with the 3 top ranked conference champions feels right. With some rules around having to be ranked in the top 20 to be an at-large.

Mizzou, that didn’t have a functional offense against A&M. Quite the feat to be able to grind them down.
Starting a freshman QB in his 2nd game. BTW, Mizzou rushed for over 200 years in that game at over 6 YPC when they were fielding a QB that everyone knew wasn't a threat.
This A&M team is getting more run for beating up on the bottom half of the conference than any team in recent memory.
ND was a good win. It was game 2 and absolutely needed some fortunate breaks to get the W, but it was a quality win. But that's the list.
I can't help but think that Miami wins by double digits.

A little help here. We're driving up to CO this weekend. What's bad about it? Should I take the eastern route that's a little longer?
It's like 100 miles. There's nothing to it. I've done it during summer, winter, and spring break. Like 30-40 times.
The most boring part of the trip is Amarillo to Texline. At least you get to see some different terrain in NM.

Frankly should have been on peoples death lists. Didn’t have the look of someone that fades into retirement.
He had a good run of "Oh THAT guy is in this" movies in the mid to late 90's.
Pulp Fiction, The Mask, Usual Suspects, Blue Streak
Turns out he was around 30 when filming those, but looked 45.

It’s basically equivalent to the worst NCAA sanction short of the death penalty. Has anyone ever been hit with a 25 scholarship reduction for one year? I know the portal mitigates this and the new coach will pick up some stragglers before the signing day in February, but this is like a meteor strike on their roster.
And 100% of their own doing. Couldn't happen to a more morally bankrupt fanbase.

I agree with there being something because the point Blacklab made--old people vote. But clearly something has to change. Raise/eliminate the cap being the most obvious. I think means testing is too difficult to implement. But I'm not counting on anything.
I'd be curious if you eliminate the cap, what could you do at the bottom of the income range to put more money in the hands of low income earners. Something like SS tax doesn't kick in until $10k earned income. Or $20k. Whatever the number is that makes even out with the added tax revenue at the top. Of course that will never happen, but people making >$176k won't miss the money more than it would benefit low income earners.

Damn she was a lot of fun.

Is there a glitch on the site that doesn't make the pics show up?

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
in Football
It makes no sense to jump this year. There are NFL HC openings every year. Makes more sense to do everything in your power to make Arch the obvious 2027 #1 pick, and then bolt for that job at the end of next season. You'd think the team with the #1 pick probably has a HC job to fill as well.
