Georgia had both Texas and OU scheduled for this decade and canceled both when we joined the SEC. Overall they do a pretty good job but yeah, Georgia Tech doesn't really count as anything more than an annual obligation.
We did a lot of this too. Partly, we were able to because the normal social calendar for us and our kids had gone to zero. But also, we just made more of an effort. I miss that as well.

The B1G would want TAMU for the exact same reasons the SEC did-- opening up more access to recruiting and television sets in Texas, while not threatening the legacy powers in the conference in any meaningful way.
I don't read it as "best" or "most iconic." "Favorite" doesn't have to mean either one of those things so just name who you like most. Agree that all of those are indeed worth mentioning.
Underwoods tried to open a store in Austin on Burnet Road. It didn't fare well. The building is still there, it was Tien Hong for a long time, now it's Shu-Shu's and a tattoo shop.
