  1. Yup, party source in northern Kentucky. If it makes you feel better it was gone in 30 minutes, I just happened to be in the store when they posted on social media it was getting put out, hence the insanity that followed.
  2. Would have been better, but no the toddler had no socks or shoes and was under old dudes arm with him running full sprint. It was probably like a 3-4 year old too, so not small. Other people were all running in too but seeing the dads with kids all running cracked me up the most.
  3. Picked up a 14 year Boone County single barrel today, people are losing their shit over this. I stayed in the parking lot of party source for a bit watching dudes literally sprinting into the store. One guy ran in carrying a toddler with no shoes or socks.
  4. Cream of Kentucky sat on shelves here for a month or 2 at 140 per bottle, I didn't hear great things but who knows.
  5. Just pulled the trigger on a sftb and a gold. Hope this stuff is what dreams are made of.
  6. Not even sure how something like that is possible, gotta be aliens
  7. Well right off the bat I know they are full of shit, living in Kentucky I know my temperature swings aren't 5 degrees per day. I'm guessing it swings more than Texas each day honestly
  8. Russell's reserve store picks I've had have all been excellent
  9. After a few pours yep I agree. At least it was cheap.
  10. Yep sales dude told me it wasn't sourced when I asked and I didn't look close enough since it said Alabama on the front. Usually I trust that store but I got snookered here.
  11. Anyone ever had Clyde mays straight bourbon? Local store said it was the next big thing (ie oki, boone County, etc) , it's definitely different though. Tastes like straight up apple pie.
  12. Life lessons of course, the new old forester rye isn't half bad either for 20 bucks
  13. Out of stock until the summer, OF apparently went through a year's supply in about 6 months so you won't probably see it until June I think
  14. No wonder they can offer all the pappy, no one buys it.
  15. Yeah this is probably reality, I heard second hand that in 5 to 6 years they expect production of blantons and eagle rare to be enough where it sits on shelves consistently though, that would be nice.
  16. I hope it kills secondary but I'm not sure. Definitely agree on the W12 needing increased.
  17. Pouring a Deps old Weller store pick to watch the isu bball game, very tasty. Sucks they are jacking up the price about 2 fold.
  18. I liked jackalope a lot when I visited. Liked the beers better than Yazoo. Talked to the founders sitting in the taproom on a random weekday too and they were cool. Although this was years ago.
  19. Damn, someday I hope to pull something like this off.
  20. I've had samples from a few releases, one was OK to good and the other was about the worst bourbon I've tasted. So I wouldn't feel bad about passing at that price at all. I do pass at msrp too though
  21. Ha nope thanks for the compliment! I've just talked a lot with the stores around here and go in to new riff and Boone County every now and then. The new riff distiller tour is fantastic if you ever get a chance, I think they changed the wording and it's now called inside the lab or something. Lots of pours of all their juice and talking with the master distiller for an hour or so.
  22. New Riff is ok for 4 year old bourbon, it should be good though with a few more years of age. They've knocked the marketing aspect out of the park though and there is serious money being them.
  23. Yep, it's tasty stuff and bourbon prices are up across the board. Word is they are just about out of the sourced juice so it may be wise to stock up.
