  1. *interim US attorney. Just ask Eagle Ed Martin (now facing a disciplinary bar compliant) how you shouldn’t assume Senate approval
  2. This. It’s a loyalty test
  3. But this is intended to create more. Shows rewards for loyalty and gives disincentives to Capitol Police who otherwise would kill to protect Congress.
  4. NSIAP - Schumer failing (again) to meet the moment as opposition leader
  5. Trump is using tax payer money to give this dead cunt’s family $5 million. Fuck him, fuck the J6 terrorists who tried to overthrow the government, and fuck everyone who voted to put these people in charge again.
  6. I would invest in a company that intentionally spammed conspiracies to target and take down Republicans. Some of those QAnon assholes would bite
  7. This reads to me like you’re lecturing “you shouldn’t leave that bar bc some Nazis showed up.” Nah, man. I’m not saving humanity with my tweets. Elon can have his circle jerk and I can better manage my own social media diet.
  8. Well, the Court may do away with nationwide injunctions to allow Trump’s patently unconstitutional directives and actions to go into effect - in this case an undoing of birthright citizenship. If a dem ever controls the White House, I bet they reverse course super quickly One of the last weapons we had against unconstitutional acts is likely going to be taken away. It’s fitting that Roberts will kill our constitutional order
  9. And Republicans in Congress are pushing a prohibition on federal regulation of AI to be attached to the government funding legislation. Oh and this manipulation should crater the value of xAI from an investment standpoint bc there’s no credibility in the outputs making this unusable for any purpose- but somehow stock prices will keep soaring
  10. No liberals ever gave a fuck about Tulsi Gabbard other than decrying her as a Russian asset or Assad puppet
  11. Did Grover Cleveland travel every weekend in the statue of liberty? Was it gifted to his “presidential library” so he can continue using it every weekend to golf? It’s a fucking monument.
  12. It’s insulting how dumb they think their voters are
  13. Let me be clear: I don’t give a fuck. They paid the President and obtained a change in US foreign policy. This is even more direct than backing an embargo and reversing course once certain people bought Kushner’s family’s building in NYC at an above-market price that rescued their bad loans. It’s out and open bribery and no one should tolerate that Trump can put the presidency - and US policy- for sale
  14. Here’s something of value given in exchange for all the crypto and development deals - and we’ve only just started the official bribery tour. We haven’t even gotten to the new weapons deals for Qatar, yet. Surely Republicans who spent 30 years decrying improper foreign influence of the Clintons will be furious, but no more so than the anti-terrorist hawks who can’t abide favorable treatment for state sponsors of terrorist organizations or Hamas. I’m sure the media will also be following up with relentless reporting and multiple days of front page coverage that was devoted to just as serious national security concerns about email servers for the Secretary of State *bangs head into desk*
  15. Isn’t that just about penalties for interfering with a police officer and not specifically anything about recording cops?
  16. Id fire Nico before he fucks up the draft.
  17. 30% is still an insane trade war started for no reason other than the president failing high school economics Everyone acting like tariffs are gone is driving me insane
  18. “Up to Scott B” It’s not like he’s the President who solely drove this abuse of a loophole on “national security” to levy the biggest US backed trade war in a century, and then threw a tantrum when China punched back. Now it’s all “up to Scott B”. That’ll do it. I’m sure that will absolve him of the consequences
  19. While pithy, it’s sad how true this statement is
  20. That’s true but he’s been pretty consistent voicing the stupidity and self harm of the tariff policy. His refrain is “there is a reason tariffs end in -ffs” [for fuck sake]
  21. Whatever that number may be it will be dwarfed by the cost of IRS cuts and lack of tax enforcement which will cost at least $500 billion. Plus those dollars come at a cost of lost trade, small businesses closing, and layoffs. So great, some dollars may have come in the door but there won’t be a trucking industry by fall.
  22. There is no off ramp and there will be no off ramp. They can throw parties for themselves and manipulate markets by press releases but refusing to remove tariffs is the whole game. Oh and data shows we have a trade surplus with the UK so if they can’t get tariff relief… well we’re headed for a worldwide recession. At some point the stock market will stop trading on vibes but that’s probably not until stores are empty and mass layoffs start.
  23. No he was wrong. 10% as to every country on earth alone is a staggering departure of norms
