  1. BS and Rusillo touched on this but Houston needs to trade Sengun, Green, and Jabari and some tasty picks for Giannis. That's the only way they're winning a title and even then I'm not sure. They're going to have to throw in assets for someone to take Green's awful deal that they didn't have to do. I guess if they want to keep running FVV back that's fine but they need another guard that's not small. FVV will get you some stats but he's small and they can't play Reed with him because then they have two 6'0" (if that) guards out there at once. A roster of Amen, Giannis, FVV, and maybe Jabari might get them somewhere.
  2. Lulz at trading Jalen Green. Someone thought it was a good idea to give him an extension. It kicks in next year at 3 years $100M or something. No one is taking him. He's not an asset. He's an anchor.
  3. This has to be the longest series in playoff history as far as days in real life taken to play. We've been at this two weeks. Jalen Green is ass, my dude. Jabari Smith is just a guy. If I were a really wealthy old guy, Jimmy Goldstein might be my north star. Fly around the country watching games and buying gorgeous mid mod trophy houses.
  4. Was coming here to post that. Eight episodes, all very funny and good pacing. You could tell Tina Fey's writing was all over it. Legitimately funny. Kind of a Big Chill for Gen X vibe. Really liked this show.
  5. Yeah, Denver is a bit younger than the Clippers but they have no depth and just played a hard 7 game series. OKC is young, a lot of depth, and coming off a week's rest. They start playing every other day tomorrow.
  6. 7 points on 2-8 shooting in a Game 7 is Peak Harden.
  7. Clippers are an old team and finally hit the wall. Had they won this, they'd be in OKC on Monday night going every other night. OKC would have run them out of the building and it would have been ugly.
  8. Wow. GS losing now that they have to play every other day like every other playoff team. It's amazing how they lose when every other day vs one game every three days. Who would have thought?
  9. GS started Draymond at the 5 and Butler at the 4. Houston showed them that is, and always will be, a big man's game.
  10. Jalen is to black people what Jackson is to white people.
  11. OKC played 4 games in 6 days. Meanwhile, GS/Houston took almost two weeks to play 6 games. If GS/Houston go to Game 7, the Eastern Conference semis will have already started. They need to speed these things up.
  12. They break ass to play 82 games in the regular season. Three games in four days. If Houston and Golden State go 7 games, that will be 7 games in two weeks.
  13. From what I understand, OKC's second round schedule is dependent on whether Houston and GS go 6 games or 7. OKC has been done for almost a week yet they still haven't played game 6. Glad they got to rest and play every three days, though.
  14. No. A healthy Dallas with AD, Kyrie, etc. would have destroyed this Laker team. Gobert looked like Wilt Chamberlain for God's sake. Believe it or not, Luka is not the greatest player to ever play basketball. He's a better version of Carmelo Anthony.
  15. Jaylin Williams (OKC) could be a backup.
  16. It's funny watching the post mortem on the various shows and pods come to realize that the Luke trade might not have been as awful as everyone though. Yes, still a bad trade. Still disastrously bad on defense and complains a lot on offense. The trade was more for the future from the Lakers standpoint, I get that. However, had a healthy Dallas played a healthy Lakers in the playoffs, Dallas wins that easily.
  17. Someone should field a team of all Jalens. Two stars are Jaylen Brown and Jalen Williams. Jalen Brunson plays point. Jalen Duren plays center. Who else out there?
  18. OKC is 2-0 against this year and wasn't completely at full strength either time. They're a terrible matchup for Boston. Dort basically shuts down Brown and Jalen Williams takes Tatum. Their bigs also move well to guard their bigs.
  19. That doesn't put them in the top half of the West and how much longer is Lebron going to really play?
  20. Yeah, Lakers are 3-4 years away. I'm not sure they're in the top 4 in the Western Conference going forward the next few years. OKC, Houston, Minny, and even San Antonio all have bigger upside. Lakers need to upgrade the whole roster and the only real asset they have is Austin Reeves.
  21. OKC beats Denver in 5 or 6. Oddly enough, they're a terrible matchup for the Clippers and their small lineup that they've been using. They'd have Jalen Williams play the 4 and guard KL, Dort on Harden, and Wallace/Caruso on Norm Powell.
  22. School of Scientology Film School.
  23. The ongoing question for the Lakers is what now? They obviously need to upgrade the roster but outside of Austin Reaves, what assets do they have to trade? They're not in the top 4 in the West going forward the next few years. San Antonio, quite frankly, is in a better position. (OKC, Houston, Minny, are also ahead of them.)
  24. What's wrong with Russillo? What did he do?
