  1. Does anyone know what defense Muachamp is even going for?
  2. So half the P4 teams are the NY Mets?
  3. Prior to portal: 12-13 non-redshirts is normal, with 2-3 redshirts. 53-man NFL rosters generally have 9 with 4 more on PS. I get the picture people think that taking 5 each recruiting class and carrying 20 is normal, but that would not be normal at all.
  4. Quasi-MLB model is what we need. Anti-trust exemptions for the leagues to enforce penalties against the schools while the athletes' also get a larger seat at the table. I think more/better representation (including former athletes) on governance boards would be better than CBA model.
  5. But these both appear to be restrictions on the labor market imposed by a trust. The last bit especially wouldn't survive a lawsuit.
  6. The problem with the tortious interference route is that there are minimal actual damages. There would have to be actual foul play (bribes, threats) to get any meaningful damages paid. Buyouts are not allowed. The best thing we can hope for is the UGA lawsuit holds and LDs become "punitive" in the normal sense of the word even though they aren't legally punitive.
  7. Many women would rather be ugly than have wrinkles. It's a great mystery why.
  8. You just don't get it...he's not just any dark dragon, he's the handsome dark dragon prince who enslaved the forest elves.
  9. No, no, no, keep him on that list.
  10. "The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Albert Camus
  11. "And how could we endure to live and let time pass if we were always crying for one day or one year to come back?"
  12. Going All-In is actually the only way to completely lose.
  13. Either he's tempered himself with wisdom or aggy is already out.
  14. I'm leaning this way, tbh. Looking back at last year's portal: Eric Singleton and David Bailey worked out, then bread. Mendoza obviously worked out too but he wasn't considered a top guy.
  15. He is and Will Weaver. They've also done some NFL stuff like sold their naming rights to fund revshare. They also are chasing second tier guys and relying on luck and coaching to create talent.
  16. Honest question, how many "top-tier" have actually committed anywhere yet? Is Omarion Miller considered top-tier?
  17. So we are getting Mike Washington?
  18. New money is embarassingly conspicuous. //adjusts monocle//
  19. FSU is a better destination than I thought Wisner would end up. Good for him. Parker wasn't going to make starter money here, and that's pretty much the full story. He's the only one who has left that I'm sad to see go. But with Mosley, Wingo, and portal guy; we couldn't promise him anything for next year. That said, if it's Oklahoma, I hope he's ass. That ASU back looks really good. Looks like what Niblett could have become in the reality where he ended up at RB.
  20. Injured. Torn labrum freshman year, tried to do rehab only but ultimately needed surgery sophomore year.
  21. Kyle Parker was at Lovejoy with Parker Livingstone. I'd rather have the latter, though, given equal money.
