  1. Our big humans are to slow to make that block
  2. If I am Ole Miss I am thankful for the score.
  3. Lawyer asked kid "You listened to who? The guy the screwed Nico. Well lets see if they will take you back."
  4. Carson Beck cost Miami 4 points on that first drive.
  5. I worked in the same office with Stonie Clark for a few months. He could not take two steps if somebody new was at the office and was a Texas fan without being told thank you. Most times that was followed by offers to go to lunch. Tre gave all that stuff up because his agent did not know what the market is doing and on top of it they handled it the wrong way. In this cycle you can forgive agents not knowing the market seems to be in flux but not stepping on the plane like has been mentioned in places that is just burning bridges.
  6. So a number of programs that recruited well are now losing players who believe they are worth more than those programs are willing to pay. If all the major programs are doing the same thing, who is supposed to be paying more? All the lower-tier programs that want to be the next Indiana? It should be interesting to see whether all of these players end up getting paid or taking pay cuts. In the meantime, depth is being lost and fan expectations are not shifting like they need to be in realtime.
  7. Didn't Sark decide to do that with the OL last year and a backfired. Damn if you do and damn if you don't. I understand for those of us watching from the outside it just looks like we are screwed all around.
  8. I think they were trying to compare this portal cycle so far to the incompetence of Strong (cake is baked) and Herman (winning is hard)
  9. On Texas Football CJ mentioned cake , Howe's response was next thing you know we will start hearing portaling is hard.
  10. Well there goes one of the up green arrows from earlier in this thread.
  11. Anwar is saying that Kobe Black is also going to hit the portal.
  12. That is three strikes on the swinging for the fences Bobby and Gerry mention this morning other than Coleman.
  13. Visiting Texas the sentiment is Texas has a real good chance to land him. Visiting A&M the sentiment is aggy is about to land him. Visiting Tech the sentiment is Tech is about to land him. What this tells me is that Coleman and his agent are really good at making sure everyone feels like they have a great chance at landing him as to keep the negotiation going and having no one exist the negotiation.
  14. But is he clumsy and slow enough for Flood?
  15. Life can change in a second, yesterday or the day before coach was talking about how Jordan does not care about his memorabilia in a very care free way. Today he is probably at his side. Prayers go out to Jordan, his family and friends.
  16. Purpose of thread is the drink has to be named Moonshot as to match the transfer portal motto for 2025.
  17. Here is a variant of the original: MoonShot Cocktail Recipe | How to Make the perfect MoonShotIngredients: Gin:2 oz · Clamato Tomato Cocktail:3 oz · Tabasco Sauce:1 dash · Ice Cubes:As needed
  18. Since Moonshot has become this year’s motto and much like Chicken Fried Steak in the first year, I was hoping there might at least be a drink that could become the official drink for a big signing. Any other cocktails that are actually known by the name of Moonshot or does Surly create it own new recipe? Any of these enticing to the Surly crowd? Moonshot Cocktails (Alcoholic) There are several cocktail recipes that share the name "Moonshot": Classic "Moonshot" (Clam Juice Cocktail): A historically strange, but reportedly refreshing, concoction created by Harry Craddock in 1926 to commemorate the end of the General Strike in England. Ingredients: 2 oz gin, 3 oz clam juice (or clam nectar), 1 dash Tabasco sauce. Instructions: Stir all ingredients well with cracked ice and strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a celery stalk if desired. Apollo 11 Commemorative "Moonshot": A simple, celebratory drink from 1969. Ingredients: 3 oz Champagne, 2 oz Cognac, 3 oz orange juice. Instructions: Mix well and serve over ice, because, as the publicist noted, "the moon's surface is rock". Modern "Moonshot" (Space Race Inspired): A more contemporary recipe incorporating a space-age product. Ingredients: Grapefruit cello (cello can be substituted), vodka, blood-red grenadine, and Tang powder (the space-age breakfast drink).
  19. You have to look at cost now and since we don't know what these players cost either Texas staff is going for better value to sign a couple of high end players or Texas staff just got some sticker shock and wish they had kept some of the players we already had in house. Only they will know the truth.
  20. I think at best he is a replacement for Wisner what I mean by that is he is a #2 back. Yet, if the price is possibly higher than Wisner why not keep Wisner? At least we know Wisner was good in pass pro. This guy I don't know since there is not much of that in the highlights.
  21. Bobby mentioned the WR coach was being retained last week. If one of your receivers consistently drops the ball then he has a case of the drops, when all your wideouts consistently drop the ball then it is coaching.
