  1. There are two reasons: 1) He is stubbornly optimistic and thinks that things will work on the next play because he saw it work in practice. 2) He sucks at in game adjustments. It took him about five games to give up on Ewers throwing deep when the in-game evidence showed it wasn't going to work. Sark has to sit down and take time to think before making an adjustment. He talks about the flow of the game influencing his decision-making, but to the rest of us, it's clear he's oblivious to the flow of the game, evident in not taking points, throwing deep, and pitching the ball on 2nd down.
  2. Watched the press conference and Sark has no answers on how to fix things. He's usually coy about what will happen next because he expects things to get fixed, but not this time. Today, he just said we need to coach better and play better. Although he did hint at what needs to be done to beat OU. He said that no one has made OU's defense pay for being so aggressive. Well, with no OL, how do you make them pay is what Sark has to figure out? My money is on him being optimistic that the OL will do better and he'll create the ultimate game plan to beat OU, only to have it go to shit as he acts surprised that an OL that has played poorly for 5 games plays poorly during the 6th game.
  3. The film guy says Flood recruits big humans with no athleticism and that is why they are always holding against SEC teams with a pulse.
  4. Cross posting. Many here probably know that with no OL we are not going anywhere this year. This just puts a punctuation on why we lost two semifinals with the game on the line. Some guy from Washington penetrated way to quickly and need I bring up Ohio State.
  5. For those who think the QB is the issue or a change is going to fix anything. Starts at 6:37 ends at 14:49 but at 14:01 he drills into the bad play calling by Sark.
  6. But wait BO&W said Arch should start over Ewers since Ewers was our problem. Now he says Arch is our problem. The wisdom that guy has is unmatched.
  7. This thread will continue to grow but our MAIN problem the last two years has not been the QB. It is our OL being dominated by teams with a pulse. 11 attempts for 14 yards by RBs should get any team beat regardless of QB. The second problem is Sark developed good QBs when his job was OC and that was his only job. Ewers and Arch both have shown bad fundamentals that is no longer just on them and it is a systemic problem. So much for a season in which Sark had to take it to the next level.
  8. Bullshit they also need to beat aggy
  9. They will but they shouldn't, after UTEP they should have been between 15 and 20. Now they are out of there and can join Clemson.
  10. Your are so full of shit. Go look at the TD throw to Wingo
  11. Billy tried to give us that game and Sark as a game day coach is so bad he could not take it.
  12. Back to a long year of having to watch a bad Texas team. No discipline, we have OL or TEs fuck up after every big play. On top of it we have a coach that tries to get all back at once instead of using screens to get some chunk plays and slow down the rush. Fuck Sark and most of all fuck Flood.
  13. I want to blame Arch but I can't. He just ran to give his team a chance after a Wingo drop and what does Brooks do? Two fucking false starts!!!!
  14. Its that pocket presence and throw that make Arch frustrating.
  15. We don't have an offensive line and we don't have a QB that can make up for a bad line.
  16. Thank god this did not go to 4th down
  17. Goody Sark play calling in the red zone
  18. Taffe misses his second turn over of the day
  19. Our best friend is Billy"s play calling. We can't stop the run and he decides to pass in the redzone.
  20. Something tells me Arch hesitated and passed up on an open Moore
  21. Guys going after the wrong man. Something Florida put on tape and has changed up.
