  1. Bobby said Ed Orgeron may be a candidate. I think that man is retired and spending all his money on the ladies.
  2. Broken record and it will go on until we beat their ass this November. They will predict how bad they wish we were until they switch to the predefined excuses as to why it is OK for them to lose to us.
  3. I believe that Sark's refusal to take what was given (two back run game) and instead he tried to take what he desired hurt us more than the refs. Good I hope it burns Sark all off season. As an OC he can be cute like that because the head guy answers for the failure. In this case he knows he should have been playing tonight had he taken what was there to be had. People learn most from failure when they are willing to adapt and not bang their heads against the wall and this season Sark showed he at times remembers the lessons learned.
  4. On September 7th, 2024 we need to remember what they are thinking and sing The Eyes of Texas in yet another stadium that is empty except for about 15K+ Longhorn fans.
  5. It is going to hurt to watch this game since we thought it was very winnable if we could just get past our bad match up against Washington. I guess I want to see Michigan win since I told an aggy troll back before the start of the 2021 season that Michigan and us would get there way before they ever did since blue bloods are blue bloods for a reason. This is when aggy was feeling even more full of themselves then usual with a top 4 finish in 2020.
  6. So running at top speed past that block you were suppose to make gets you a high grade? I guess the best this can be is a hustle grade. In soccer these type numbers seem to verify that the guy everyone thinks is a lazzy ass midfielder is actually the guy that ran the least and moved the slowest.
  7. The Ewers scenarios this guys come up with all read like aggy wet dreams.
  8. Terry Joseph passing game coordinator and hired before PK if I remember correctly. At times it seemed PK was doing one thing and Joseph another. This year not so much but it sure seemed like big issue the first year.
  9. Sark seems to be bringing in a 3rd cook but this guy will probably have his trust. I hope he uses him as input for game day management on the defensive side while he is busy being OC and PK is reverting back to his prevent defense comfort zone.
  10. This guy is a Sark guy since Sark made him assistant head coach at Washington and USC. He will bring a new dynamic into the defensive room. Lets hope it is a good one and what Sark wants.
  11. Choate was PKs guy so no I did not perceive him the same way. I say perceive because I personally have not been in those rooms.
  12. BO Davis is a great example of a position coach that has yet to be a DC. Would you say he lacks experience?
  13. Gut reaction and probably not popular is that I do not like the hire. The disconnect between fronts and secondary in my opinion has been due to two cooks in the kitchen. This feels like we are now going to have 3 cooks in the kitchen.
  14. Why did I think of this when Jimbo is getting interviewed?
  15. Until Sark finishes building Sark we will have these setbacks. He could have run the ball with the two back set but he reverted to his comfort zone when under pressure. Gameday management is Sark's issue and it may be his blind spot and like the rest of us when people point out a blind spot we consider those folks to be morons or envious of us. So it is hard to fix what one does not believe is an issue.
  16. It is not about the stadium it is about the Cotton, Rose, Sugar and Orange bowls being the guys when I first started to be a college football fan and then the Fiesta joining them somewhere along the way. I have marked off 4 of the 5.
  17. Yes NC should be in 95K+ stadium and no the quarters should be in the bowls because some of us like those trips and I still need my shot at the Orange Bowl since other than @Armybrat none of us have a had a chance to mark that one off the list.
  18. Round (1) is at home with four teams getting a bye week. Round (2) is either 31st and 1st which a good time for fans to travel because it is combined with the New Year celebration. Everyone knows no work gets done between Christmas and New Years. Then the semi-final is Round (3) which as best I can ascertain will happen on Wednesday and Thursday (Jan 8 & 9 2025) because of not wanting to compete against NFL games. I don't care who you are those are crappy travel dates and that is why I think those should be home games. People will make the final (Round 4) regardless of when or where it happens. I thought just saying semis was enough for people to understand what games I was talking about and the crappy calendar in which they are slated to fall. https://collegefootballplayoff.com/news/2023/5/2/24-25-dates.aspx
  19. I guess if one is watching them all on TV it does not matter. Just in the interest of fan bases. The stadiums will fill up with locals when prices go down.
  20. That is still 3 away travel games if semis are not made home games. Also, semis at home are a big reward for being a top 4 conference champion if you make past the NYG quarters. People can make a game during holiday dates. Also, they will make it to final game but would you go to semis after traveling to quarterfinals?
  21. Semis need to turn into home games. That way it is still just two games for all out travel.
  22. That first down at the end with what I estimated was three shots told me it was in the bag. I am still in denial that it did not happen but for the first time in a long time this one hurts the players more than any of us fans. I think about that when I start to get angry.
