  1. I just bought 21 acres south of Tyler. Yes, 17 acres is big enough to hunt, the question though is the land sustainable to hunt longterm. On our property there are deer and hogs galore. Long-term is this going to be just for hunting or something else? Lot of factors in play.
  2. Who had Bill Dance on things we would discuss in the recruiting thread on your bingo card?
  3. He aleady flexed his muscle when the US had to up their payments for using Manas Airbase. The US was playing like $15 million a year in rent then Russia told the Kyrg govt your not asking enough. So the US ended up paying $60 million a year. Then year's later same rhetoric and influence from Russia and the base shut down in 2014(ish). My numbers/timeframe may be off but it was a huge deal as that place was a hub for fuel and people in/out of Iraq & Afghanistan. Bright side it had a awesome chow hall.
  4. Deployed there a few times during the 2010s and it looks like you would picture the old USSR. People survive on next to nothing, infrastructure none existent. What a complete shit hole but talk about resilient people.
  5. I laughed at starter coil thingies...Dodge/Ram have a heater grid as they don't have glow plugs like Ford or GM.
  6. I run Kleen Diesel additive (white bottle) year-round, not only does it prevent gelling it also adds sulfur to your fuel which is a lubricant and will save you a premature injector job. Today's diesel fuel is ultra-low sulfur diesel for emissions purposes but it lacks enough sulfur to lubricate valve stems, injectors etc. Unless you can get away with running farm diesel (you can legally if a state of emergency has been declared by the governor) you need to run a fuel additive of some sort, you'll thank me later. Injector pumps are not cheap. The biggest thing to extend a diesel's longevity is fuel, filters, and fluids. Get those 3 right and she will run for 500K+
  7. I'm a fan as well and the app is legit. Another factor is some cities/states give you a rebate due to it conserving water. Something to look into if you purchase it.
  8. Yes through 2028. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/31943165/alabama-coach-nick-saban-average-98-million-per-season-approved-new-contract%3fplatform=amp
  9. After taking 4 months off, retiring from one job and starting a new career, buying a house, holidays, and whatnot I decided to dig into oil pressure problems on the superbee. Tore apart the front end of the motor on the hemi after I had a hunch that an internal oil galley plug was missing and creating a massive internal leak, causing me not to get out pressure. Well...sure enough a plug was missing, just not the one I thought. I thought it would be the plug facing the ground (green) as its easily missed but it was the one behind the timing chain, circled in yellow. Either way this is why you have to double-check your machine shop's work. I should have caught it when I assembled the motor and that one is on me but what a PITA. So happy it's a cheap fix too and instead of a 15K rebuild. Now to find a galley plug in the scrounge. Then reassembly tomorrow and hopefully terrorize the neighbors come next week [emoji41]
  10. Closed on my house yesterday, appreciate the advice from all. Shout out to @Neonmoon for the great rate and awesome customer service. Shaggy/surly comes through again.
  11. Jokes on them as sark's offense doesn't teach QB's to underthrow routes or interceptions.
  12. I use the Wahl stainless steel lithium2.0. It's not surly 2%'er but this trimmer works like a champ and is under $100. Another perk is the battery holds a charge forever it seems.
  13. Gerry mention if you get/got the OL from California, he would sent in his LOI but wouldn't announce until later. That would then push Campbell out.
