  1. RIP
  2. he was probably my second favorite guy from that era behind Harden. him or PJ. i'm not expecting him to be what he was back then but i'm pumped to have him back. always hated that he was collateral damage due to the westbrock trade.
  3. that denver/brooklyn trade is going to make the western conference even tougher next year, but could improve the odds that brooklyn's 2027 pick is a good one.
  4. big time trade for denver
  5. if he develops as we all hope he does, that is going to be a steal in years 3-5.
  6. don't give up your unprotected pick next year when you are going to suck shit through a straw
  7. after last night's draft, i think Brooklyn's 2027 pick is now our most valuable future draft asset. I see no way in which that team is competive in the 2026-27 season and the East should be deeper then than it will be next season.
  8. as a fan of a team who can pick swap with the Nets in 2027, i came out of last night's draft extremely gruntled. the only fanbase who should be more gruntled after last night is the Hawks' fanbase.
  9. nola trading their unprotected 2026 pick (spolier alert - its gonna be a decent pick) for the #13 pick is certainly a choice.
  10. that is good shit. there will be real players available with the MLE.
  11. Looks to me like New Orleans saves some money this year and Washington gets two expiring contracts. CJ and Olynk are both expiring while Poole and Bey both have 2 years left. Washington should have a lot of cap space next summer. If that even means anything anymore.
  12. i see rumors that okc is trying to trade for a top 10 pick. i sure hope that anyone that trades with them over the next several years charges them a premium. lord knows they have the assets to spare.
  13. if he wants to play basketball it is. i don't know what motivates him.
  14. phoenix could tell him they won't play him if he stays i guess.
  15. Agreed. Milwaukee will probably be "a contender" in the east by default, but that roster is terrible. The three teams you mentioned + the Knicks should all be better than them and even watered down versions of Boston and Indiana should be right there with them.
  16. complete clown show effort there.
  17. Amen should be due for his extension (which will be the rookie scale max) next summer. But I don't think it will kick in until year 5 so they should still have 2 more cheap years of Amen.
  18. good lord how embarrasing for this ump crew
  19. believe 6/29 is the deadline. i am under the impression that KD will sign a 2 year extension at some point this summer, so I'd be fine with giving Fred a 3 year deal to match the time that KD will have on his deal. 3 years, $70ish million sounds about right.
  20. I can't figure out if we used the MLE to resign Adams or not. If we didn't, that could be used to add another valuable piece.
