I think what she did by playing that voice mail was a good response. However I bet the house that someone will claim that that was scripted and staged, that it wasn't authentic. But each of these little things keeps adding up, and more and more people are getting fed up. I never sent any monetary support to a campaign before the Beto senate run. And I sure never sent any out of state, but I have now and others here are contributing likewise. So people are getting tired of their idiocy and beginning to understand that races all over the country can affect the bottom line, particularly thanks to Joe and Krysten.
I don't know the answer other than say that is false, here is why it's false and then start talking about how a legislator has responsibility to their constituents that goes beyond being a blowhard ineffective mouthpiece. Anyone can do that, and if her constituents are happy with the fact that all she does is talk tough but not only isn't delivering, but is actually making her district a pariah for sending someone like her.
Of course they wouldn't understand it, and it would just make them double down, pride and all.
But he is right as far as not getting in the slop with them, they and their stans are comfortable there.
Maybe put together a montage of her using the same jokes several times and bring into doubt that it ever actually happened. And if she just makes this stuff up, what else does she make up for a vote or a laugh?
I'm not a big Carville fan either, but he has part of the answer, but not all of it here.
