  1. Feels like game 4 and 5 are must wins for OKC. Going down 3-1 or 3-2 is gonna be a tough to overcome.
  2. It feels like we have played a lot of NL teams for it being only June 12, not a lot of division series so far. The NL is slightly better on .500+ teams compared to the AL too.
  3. Cubes have 6 sides by definition, a 4 sided "cube" is a square. Therefore your post is clearly false. Pacers in 5 because 4+1=5, duh.
  4. "In addition, the Knicks asked to speak with Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder but were firmly denied, sources told ESPN. Snyder completed his third season in Atlanta." Lol... Are there any betting sites taking odds on the next team to deny the Knicks? My money is on the Clippers and Ty Lue.
  5. FVV option must be picked up to trade him. At 44m, I don't think the Suns will find anyone willing to trade for Fred during the season, so they would be stuck with him for 1 year. Booker, Beal and Fred is not a championship team, so the other assets they get back would need to be considerable. However, compare that to Rudy's contract, or Vassell, both have significantly more future money guaranteed. Neither is going to be a trade asset that returns more picks. FVV is at least a one and done option for them. The other thing about this trade is that you may need to give KD a 2 year $122m extension as part of the trade. If that's the case, that would be problematic for the team's cap situation, unless hes willing to take a moderate discount. Maybe he agrees to 2 years 90m? I know it's not 73 win Golden State, so he may not be willing to drop 30% in value, but he's 36, and the extension is for his 37/38 years. That's a huge liability given his injury history. If that extension is part of the trade, do you still do it?
  6. This Pacers team is so unbelievable.
  7. The Knicks would be something. They don't have many assets to send out, so it would have to be KAT for KD plus a few picks. Not sure that even works with salaries and both being well into the tax. Probably need a third team to take on some salary to make it possible. Minny sending Randle for KD would be a huge upgrade for them. I don't think that salary works either. Miami? Why? KD doesn't make them a contender. Houston and SA make sense from an assets standpoint. Much easier for them to make salary work and add lots of future picks if the players are meh. Still it only 1 year of KD, unless he agrees to an extension as part of the deal. I'm surprised Dallas isn't in the mix. They want to win now! Send Kyries expiring contract for KD plus some future assets and picks. They should have a ton from trading Luka...
  8. The Rockets have a ton of future draft picks and swaps available. I think they should shop 10 around with a future first and see if they can jump from 10 to 5/6 or so and get a guard like Tre Johnson. Would be nice to see them be aggressive in the draft and go get a guy they really want.
  9. I think LMJ would be a bullpen and emergency starter guy if there weren't so many SP injuries. Anything they can get out of him is a win at this point. He's untradable with that contract. Hopefully he can make it through this season, and give some quality starts here and there.
  10. The Suns owner isn't going to give him away for that. He's a stubborn guy, I think he would rather go down with the ship in this case rather than accept the pupu platter of middling players and a 14th overall draft pick. I think others can outbid that easily if he goes to auction, and with less future financial obligations. I wonder if the 76ers are going to try to send PG+McCain+#3 to the Suns for him. Yeah PGs contract sucks, but maybe you can sell them on him rebounding, plus 2 cheap young talents. After all, this is the team that consented to trading for Beal. Dumping that PG contract in the process would be a huge win for Philly.
  11. The arrogance of the Knicks is truly incredible. Asking to interview head coaches of playoff teams so that they can poach them. They would need to send at least a 1st to acquire one of them too, probably more. They clearly don't have a plan and are looking for someone who can create that plan and fix everything for them. Very Dolan of them really. Who's next? Are they going to ask to interview Steve Kerr? Pop? Rick Carlisle? Kenny Atkinson? If I worked for any of these teams, I would put out a preemptive "our team denies the Knicks the option of interviewing our head coach" memo to the press just to be a dick to them. Indiana should do it, it would be great.
  12. That's about what they gave up for Fox, so maybe they are just spoiled now? I don't see KD going there though, they still have a lot of questions marks. He needs a surefire contender, or to go somewhere good for so cheap that they give up nothing and become a contender by gaining him.
  13. I learned today that 29 of 30 teams elected to have a Pride Night in June this year. The only team not to do one is the Rangers. Take from that what you will. Also, it's hilarious to read the comments on the Astros Facebook promo for the game and see the bigoted Astros fans threatening to become Rangers fans over it. On the other hand, I showed my 4 year old daughter the rainbow Astros logo/jersey and now she really really wants one. So I may be buying one for other reasons.
  14. Too bad, they have a lot of good IPAs! My wife used to work up there as a traveling consultant, and she would bring me back 6 packs of their IPAs every week. Loved the Commodore Perry IPA, "Golden Lager" was pretty solid and the Burning River bottle/can has some cool art on it that's worth adding to a beer collection. Some TSA assholes stole a few 6packs from her checked bags during her travels. Those fuckers...
  15. Yeah Peter! You tell em! Get your rapists descriptions correct you morons!
  16. If you get a chance check out Great Lakes Brewing company. It's like 5 minutes west of the stadium across the river. Lots of walkable shops and restaurants around it too, and a couple more breweries nearby.
  17. This isn't a partisan thing, no 22 year old is qualified to hold that position. I would hope at least some on the right would question the decision to pick someone like this for a role as vital as CT.
  18. It's awful how the Russians can hit all the civilian targets they want in retaliation for Ukraine hitting all military targets with it's latest strike. Decent people would call it what it really is, militarized terrorism.
  19. THIS SHOW IS BACK!
  20. They are the epitome of a "Team of Destiny" Just unfuckingbelievable.
  21. Was she one of Epstein's girls and able to confirm Trump was only on the island to play golf?
  22. I don't know how that would work, I haven't played TLOU2 much beyond the Joel death scene, so I don't know how those storylines would intertwine. But as a viewer of the show, leaving it where they did is incredibly irritating and unfulfilling. It's a 7 episode season, which feels cheap to begin with, but ending it in the theater with no resolution is annoying. As others said, if it's 2027 when it comes back, I'm not going to be very interested in seeing it. If it kept on going from here with a few more episodes, then I would keep watching. The wait is going to ruin the shows appeal, which was already trending downwards. They really needed the Abby episodes to save the show, but it might not get a chance.
