  1. For Charlotte, Washington, Utah, and NOLA, there's always the 2026 draft. And if Dallas is smart, they'll trade AD for what they can, tell Kyrie to forget about 25-26, and tank to get into the lottery again. https://nbadraftroom.com/2026-nba-mock-draft/ Three potential franchise players though Dybantsa is clearly the #1 right now. 1 AJ Dybantsa SF – BYU – HT: 6-9 – WT: 201 – WING: 6-9 – C’25 – BYU lands an elite prospect in Dybantsa, one of the best high school players of the past decade. The big wing can do it all on the court and is one of the favorites to go no.1 in the 2026 NBA Draft. Elite 25 – 2 Darryn Peterson SG – Kansas – HT: 6-5 – WT: 195 – WING: 6-10 1/2 – C’25 – Peterson is a quick, wiry combo guard who can do it all on the court. He excels with the ball in his hands and can get into the lane at will. Plays both ends and attacks the glass well. Has a real chance to rise into the top spot. Elite 25 – 3 Cameron Boozer PF – Duke – HT: 6-9 – WT: 215 – WING: NA – C’25 – Cameron is a truly special prospect and is one of the top prospects in all of high school basketball. He’s incredibly efficient at scoring the rock, making it look easy. Elite 25 Michael Beasley, Jayson Tatum
  2. Poor Utah and Washington - each moved down 4 spots. Just brutal luck.
  3. Just as you hear Boomers talk about where they were when they heard the JFK news, I remember where I was on that May evening in 2003 when the Cavs won the lottery. I remember more details about that night than I do the birth of my kids.
  4. That 2011 pick was crazy - it was actually the Clippers pick that the Cavs got in the Baron Davis deal.
  5. I don't know if Dallas would do this or what their end goal is but I would gut the team - trade AD (if you can) to the worst team offering an protected 2026 pick, tank next season, and then set yourself for another run in the lottery in a loaded 2026 draft (3 potential franchise players available next June - Cam Boozer, AJ Dybantsa, and Darryn Peterson).
  6. Good for Dallas. Can't wait to see Bill Simmons' thoughts - I think the 4 teams he would least like to see win the lottery finished top 4. And Dallas was his #1 team that he didn't want to see win. lol
  7. The scene in the basement with the spores was really well done.
  8. Really underwhelming MVP candidates.
  9. There was always going to be one game that RW loses by himself. Perhaps this is the game.
  10. There was a discussion on a recent podcast about which team would be worst for Flagg and his developing. And the answer to that is pretty obvious - the circus in Philly with a cooked PG13 with a horrible contract (3 more years and $160 million left on his deal) and an even more cooked Embiid with an even worse contract (4 years and $250 million left). That is a situation that would be just toxic for Flagg and he would never be able to develop.
  11. No, no, no, no, no, no...that's not it all... well yeah
  12. That won't nearly be enough to get Flagg. Not even close.
  13. I can't help but think that OKC wasted their oppotunity in the 1st half to build a lead when Denver was missing everything.
  14. As if Spurs fans aren't insufferable enough already. With Flagg? Oof this board would be unreadable.
  15. Draft lottery is tomorrow - my three preferred destinations for Flagg: 1) Portland 2) Utah 3) Dallas
  16. Podziemski just needs to retire already. For as much as he's on TV, it seems like he's been in the league 20 years.
  17. They're all playing not to lose instead of playing to win.
  18. Two total points in OT for OKC. Two.
  19. wtf is this OKC offense
  20. Home team not wearing white. smh
  21. Hopefully the Pacers won't shoot 71% from 3 all game. But the way this series has gone reminds me of the 2009 Orlando series when Turkey-glu, Rashard Lewis, and Mikael Pietrus couldn't miss.
  22. It makes perfect sense and it resulted in getting Robinson off the floor (after a couple fouls). In a game ultimately decided by one point, Robinson was +19 in 22 minutes, by far the best figure of any Knick.
