  1. Tacorrido on Burnet pays $17/hour to work the cash register and hand out breakfast tacos through the drive through window.
  2. sounds like something a beta pussy would say.
  3. Extraction II. Wasn't as inventive as the first one but still an enjoyable 80s style killing fest.
  4. The slave master foreman of his dad's emerald mine would order low performing slaves workers to let lil' Elon kick their ass when he got home from Saint Aryan Preparatory School. Other duties as assigned.
  5. It seems like that recently Pixar tries so hard to make important animation that has a message, that they completely miss the mark on making enjoyable animation.
  6. I wonder how Odegaard feels about Rice being told he'll be captain.
  7. Just give them their iPad loaded with shit they like. A road trip isn't the time to experiment with introducing new shit to a kid if you value your sanity.
  8. We never get our first targets and we'll sign some dudes that were never on anyone's radar. Same old shit.

Just watched the game. Stuver didn’t even get a pass back until the 16th minute! Usually, he’d have a dozen touches by then. We abandoned the take it wide and cross to no one game plan and kept everything central. What a difference. It’s like Wolff watched the last two USMNT and had an epiphany that you can actually play aggressively to score. Zardes is still ass. I think he was trying to miss that score on purpose. The keeper was on the floor and he kicked it right at him instead of chipping over him. We just got lucky he flubbed it.
  10. I'm really enjoying the new Bully album. If you like early 90s grunge and alternative, you'll probably dig it.
  11. Sounds like she quit paying the premiums.
  12. Gorillaz have cancelled the Q2 show. No reason was given but the theory is ticket sales were so poor they didn’t want to play to an empty stadium.
  13. Gallagher didn’t sell out Moody Theater a few years ago. It was a good show though. I was shocked they were booked at COTA.
  14. That looks like it. It was an unplanned stop while driving out to Multnomah Falls. There are also multiple other waterfalls on the way that you can stop at. While not as grand as Multnomah, they were fun little hikes to the top. All of them have parking and maintained trails.
  15. On the way to Multnomah Falls, there's a fish hatchery that's a quick, fun stop if you have kids in tow. Multiple ponds with thousands salmon, 5 foot long sturgeons in a viewing tank, etc.
  16. and he was the top ranked accounting graduate in his class at Trinity U. He interned and briefly worked at PWC, IIRC. Can you imagine the interview? The hiring manager was probably like, "Uh, he has a 4.00 GPA while playing collegiate sports...maybe he just doesn't interview well?"
  17. Negged for the piss poor angle selection.
  18. Since 1950, there have been only 4 instances of the S&P500 returning less than 6% two years in a row. Since 1950, there's never been a downturn longer than two years. I have a hard time imagining a scenario where 5% isn't a safe withdrawal rate as long as you are investing in index funds and don't try to outsmart the market.
  19. They are bland as fuck, so, yes.
  20. I remember distinctly being taught in 7th grade Texas history that it took so long for Texas slaves to be freed was because it took 2.5 years for the message to arrive to Texas. In hindsight, such a Texan thing to teach kids.
  21. Even worse than the scooters was a brief moment in time about 5 years ago when everyone had these monstrosities at DLR. Disney banned them at all parks after about a month of them coming on the market. Unfortunately, we were there when they could be used and it was insane how in the way these things were.
