  1. Jenny Lewis was awesome last night at one of the Moodys. Stuck to the hits and a couple of cover tunes. Took Lil' Brown, who, beforehand, had a hard time understanding that there were bands that didn't play large arenas and stadiums like Tay Tay. She dug the shit out of it.
  2. Their chili is made with left over patties from the day before so that tracks.
  3. I skipped Front 242's last ever Austin set a year or so ago because their set time was at midnight. Oh well, at least I caught them a Mohawk a few years ago.
  4. His head and haircut looks like Butthead.
  5. I don't think I've eaten at a Wendy's in over 15 years. It's weird because we would eat there maybe once a month and then it just stopped. I'm not even sure where there's a Wendy's if that one on Far West is gone.
  6. A few things they do even better are being short-sighted, evil, and dumb.
  7. Since the mid-70s, there's been no need to "fix" IVF. If it now needs fixing after 40+ years, maybe you're the reason it's fucked up, you cunt.
  8. Same facial expressions as the hookers that worked the donkey show in Juarez.
  9. Fuck no. I’m okay with Biden retiring next summer though.
  10. Fuck you shark! https://www.reddit.com/r/BeAmazed/s/BNiBetLQxs
  11. That incident sounds staged. It had to have been done on purpose with the result as the end goal.
  12. If I was on the board, hookers and blow would be on me tonight.
  13. That would be a worthy billboard to put up in Guatemala. Surely there's enough left in the wreath fund for it. The monthly rate for a billboard down there has to be less than tree fiddy.
  14. From that list of dogs, I'd induct Cher, Ozzy, Frampton, Kool & the Gang, and Tribe. I love Oasis but they're not even the best Britpop band and they definitely didn't pave the way with their own sound. No band claims to be influenced by Oasis. Kravitz is most famous for having the big afro'd female drummer. An enjoyable, but derivative, artist. I'm on the fence with Jane's. I love their music and in hindsight, they probably get more credit than they deserve for being the first mainstream alternative artist in the 90s. However, they had a unique sound but oddly you never hear of anyone claiming them as an influence. I think the Pixies and Sonic Youth are more deserving from that late 80s, early 90s era. Your most famous song can't be a cover song, so Sinead is out. The rest are undeserving of headlining the Belton County Fair.
  15. I have the largest size, the Yukon. You must get the ring for underneath it to improve the airflow. At low temps, it's not remotely smokeless but when the fire is a screaming inferno, it's virtually smokeless as advertised.
  16. Next up is forced in vitro fertilization for all white womenz.
  17. With 6 months, the biggest rural side hustle will be selling gently used EV chargers on EBay.
  18. A joint ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX streamer could work. Each network's profit is based on view of their IP. You only pull 9% of the viewer minutes on the streamer? You get 9% of the profits. Expenses for running the infrastructure is split evenly. It'd incentivize them all to produce quality content.
  19. A good companion station is First Wave which is basically 80s alternative. It's my number 2 station after Lithium.
  20. Went we flew on Southwest, our flight to Houston was delayed. So, for the flight to Belize, we were the last to board and had to sit in the back row. Luckily, they have stairs for both the front and rear exit doors so we were the first to customs and it took 5 minutes.
  21. Got rid of my first day order Bronco Badlands and replaced it with a 4Runner Off Road Premium. No ragrets. I had been planning on buying a hard top for the Bronco. This issue is Ford doesn't sell one. Instead, you have to buy all the components and have the service center assemble it. The cost ranges from $10,000-$16,000. Fuck that. There are 3 outfitters selling pre-orders for their hard tops, all of which are far superior to the OEM hard top. The issue there is they've been taking pre-orders for over a year and have not delivered one hard top. No way I'm dropping $7,000 on vaporware. I decided I can't do another summer with the soft top. The Bronco was basically unusable since the temp inside would never drop below 85-90 degrees. Add in the road noise and all the goddamn rattling of the modular construction and I was done. I'm also glad to be done with all the technology. There's been a dozen recalls already on the Bronco. It's nice not having all that shit. I've got Sirius XM and Car Play. I don't really need any other shit.
  22. I've been using ChatGPT to write Python and SQL. It's really been a game changer. A script that would take me 30 minutes to get right, is done in seconds. As long as my requests are clear and detailed, the results have been excellent.
