    London

I've got about an 18 hr layover in London (land at 3pm, leave at 9 am next morning) so was planning to take the train into town for dinner then back to the LHR sofitel. Is the Hethrow Express still the best route? @PenelopeWitherspoon is there anything around Paddington worth eating/drinking at?
  2. Unless you are really wanting to try the a380 or save miles, you should do that flight through ORD. That 78P is the new flagship layoutAA edit: Also check and make sure you are business all the way through. Some legs may not be in the class you are hoping for
  3. Is it on BA or is it on AA? BA is like 1k more in most cases through LHR
  4. You won't run into engineers from UO because they don't have an engineering school. OSU and Oregon Tech are the only two programs up there. Most grads stay in the PNW. Between Portland and Seattle most stay in the general area. My wife applied to one job outside of the PNW when she graduated from Oregon, fortunately for me that was the one she ended up taking.
  5. We go to Bend just about every other summer so here are a few things. Deschutes river trail, concerts in the old mill amphitheater, floating/padleboarding the river, hike black butte (on a clear day you can see all the major peaks of the cascades from the top), so many breweries (Crux, Boneyard, 10barrel, and Dechutes are the main ones we frequent), drive out to Mt. Bachelor, white water rafting (Big Eddy is pretty easy and kid friendly depending on age), just be outside
  6. Ended the way is was supposed to.

  8. My heart goes out to those whose kids attend arky. May you keep your head high and remember "omahog" is not a thing
  9. 100% chance that if we decided to start a team, we would hire Meat Pimp away from them and then run off a meat judging dynasty
  10. Great fucking pick
  11. That is a a travel, but awesome game

  13. Do you make her sleep on the wet spot, or do you lay a towel down over it like a gentleman?

  17. @Leeroy Jenkinsmay be familiar with a few aircraft in that picture
  18. @Sundodger Nice bump brah. We flew out here on a whim a few days ago. No car, just thought we would meander around Kailua-Kona for 4 days. The rec on Huggo's nailed it. My lunch every day has been whatever looks good at the farmers market (mangos you can peel like a banana, papaya, and the previously mentioned avocado usually). Ola brew is better than kona brew, but I will stumble back from either.
