Agreed. We should set the tax rate so the money goes from each according to their ability to each according to their need.

Being born without a competitive advantage isn’t a punishment, it’s equality.  I certainly believe there should be limits to the unearned advantages one child should receive over another.

This is some CR commie shit. Can we wrap this up already?

It's interesting that no on has mentioned politics until you started. Then you complain about it and call everyone snowflakes.

I literally said that my statement was political.  You're so primed to see my posts in a particular light that you can't possibly comprehend I was acknowledging that fact.  Yeah, I'm the problem.

I love how stupid monetary policy under a <checks notes> R POTUS is ignored, but NOW we need to get right with God.

Yeah, that's political AND philosophical.  surly can get fucked.

If you want to play this game, here's monetary policy (avg fed fund rate) and fiscal policy (avg balance) during these administrations going back to Austin360.com:

2001-2008:  2.89% FFR; 249B deficit

2009-2016:  0.16% FFR; 911B deficit

2017-2020:  1.34% FFR; 1,390B deficit

2021-todate: 1.41% FFR; 2,075B deficit

This was discussed about 50 shit posts ago so here’s a chart for context

IMG_9602.jpeg

I’ve been trying to find a chart/article that incorporates the effects of debt rolling over in the next few years at roughly this interest rate level, to no avail.

Also, my stance is still that rates will be coming down substantially pretty soon. Fed will be forced to cut bigly.

Did I say that?  Put on your big brain and tell me the general trend ("slope" if you will) by administration "color".  It's coarse, it may not be causal, but it sure isn't invisible.

1 administrations dip into the green is really offsetting the 2 of their peer administrations overspending huh?  can you run an integral on that and let us compare all of them together?

Cant imagine how I'm threadshitting anymore than the dickhead repeatedly calling me a bitch and channeling his inner Rocko, but sure.

-Thread is fine and relatively CR-free for 98+ pages.

-Post 4933, Fatty enters the chat.  The CR bullshit tornado starts.  Fatty’s idiocy accounts for half of the fucking comments on page 99.  We’ve seen this before.

-Post 4954, I called it out and asked you not to post on this thread.
-Post 4958, I explain why simply putting your dumb fucking ass on ignore doesn’t work.

-Post 4962, I asked wtf your bullshit has to do with the topic of the thread; you don’t respond to that and keep up the cyclone of stupidity.

-Post 4991, I call out the thread for going off topic; you respond as if you are having a good faith discussion about tax policy.

-Post 4998, my dumbass gives up and engages in the off topic discussion.

Page 101 devolves into a jr high style argument where you further expose what a piece of shit you are.

The mod makes his call to try to get the thread back on topic (fwiw I would have been fine if he’d deleted all the back and forth between you and I and called me out along with you).  Predictably, fatty whines like the tittybaby bitchass snowflake he is.

Why is it that you think you get into so much conflict on this site?  You think it’s because you’re some bastion of truth, holding the line against the MSM and the cabal of libtards?  I know I’m probably not the first to tell you this, but that ain’t it.  It’s because you’re a fucking idiot who doesn’t know when he’s on the moral low ground or out of his depth, and you compound it by not ever shutting the fuck up.  That shit is annoying as fuck and makes it hard to enjoy any thread you post on.

Bitch, please.  Go study another WSJ editorial, come back, and wow us with your newfound thoughts on the situation.  That's my best guess at your grasp of the situation.

I entered the conversation discussing tax structure, which absolutely ties in with inflation.  Much moreso than your melting over vertical wealth transfer and how it's JuSt NoT FaIR!!!11

One penalized for achieving.  Both have access to the same govt functions, while one group uses (takes if you will) tremendously more of those services.

No, I would not call that fair.

Oh I don't know.  I do pretty well, but I'm not sure how I'd stack up against someone who could easily budget and fix one of the biggest issues out country has faced since ever.  That's got to be a pretty big brain, considering how no one has gotten it right.  Someone that intelligent has to be pulling in beaucuop bucks.

Their parents can do something about that.  Pretty simple really.  Unless we are talking about orphaned children, and then you're talking statistical anomalies.

Lol.  I'd expect you to be really sure about that, too.  Like everything else you've been so nails on.
