How exactly do they enforce lifetime bans from arenas? This guy could change his hair, buy a scalped ticket and get back in. Ticket takers aren’t probably schooled on the long list of banned fans

Yep those things rarely work for what I've seen. The only time I know of something getting caught was a ATT stadium and it's cause he wore.a fake mustache. Shit looked like he bought it from.party city lol. Sir why are you wearing a fake mustache kind of situation

I see it as getting your license suspended. Sure, you can still drive if you want. But if you get caught doing it, you could be in some hot water. I am guessing they will charge you with trespassing if you are caught. You better stay as low key as possible. There are cameras everywhere. Do they have facial recognition in these arenas? Not sure. They scan the crowds at all times during games for various reasons. I am sure the security guards are given their pics and be on high alert.

I also saw this as kind of hard to enforce and they are betting on you being too scared to enter an arena where you got a lifetime ban.

Oof Mavericks. I’m usually anti all things Dallas but I’ve always liked/been amused by Cuban and I really don’t like the Clippers and Pandemic P or Leonard during this time. So, I got really excited at 2-0. Looks like that was completely premature.
does Dallas plan on doing anything to stop those guys?  Do they have any adjustments they can make?

Escort the offender down to player walk way and have them attempt to do the spitting or throwing on level ground with the player standing there, no security between them. Defecation of pants will ensue. Post video of said offender with crap pants begging for his life to all social media accounts.

I wonder when the Lakers win the title this year how it will elevate AD's status as an all-time talent.

I mean, are we sure Anthony Davis is good?? I’ve seen Harden carry scrub rockets teams to 50 win seasons and an old Chris Paul to a hamstring injury away from beating the greatest team of all time but AD couldn’t take a collaboration with Holliday and make the playoffs more than once or twice?
LeBron single handedly dragged  2 shit Cleveland teams to the finals in 2007 and 2018 when they had pretty much nothing other than him.
Luka singlehandedly best the clips last year twice and co portent transformed Dallas.
I haven’t seen any evidence that Davis you know, makes his team winners. I guess you can give him partial credit for the title last year, but I’m pretty sure I could pair a healthy LBJ with any top 15/20 guy and they are getting through blazers/rockets/Nuggets/heat in the bubble- maybe the least impressive run ever to a title?  Up there with Golden States first title where w everyone they faced was banged up?
maybe this is an outdated or stupid take, but I’ve felt this way ever since I was bombarded with how great AD was and he couldn’t get his team to the playoffs.

LeBron at this point is like an old 75 Mustang V8 that you keep tarped in the garage and only take out 12 times a year. It's as fun as anything ever made to drive and you really take good care of it but every time it's been a couple months and the weather's changed a lot you have to cross your fingers that that old girl is going to start up just fine.

This is definitely a cross your fingers and hold your breath type moment in his career.

Good?  Of course.  Great?  Yea.  All-time?  I think it's fair to question because he doesn't really seem to lift his teammates to higher levels.  The West was definitely more challenging when he was young though, but definitely a big hole in the resume'.  And no, I don't think the Lakers win last year with just any decent big.

Anthony Davis is a phenomenal player but he's a better ceiling raiser than floor raiser. He can't run an offense and he doesn't communicate or lead his teammates at a very high level. His scoring is also a bit inconsistent to be a reliable first option - he's nowhere near someone like Durant in this regard that can give you however many points you need whenever you need them.

But as a complementary piece to LeBron - or if you paired him with Steph or Harden - he's amazing because he's an elite, versatile defender and a dynamic scorer and above average rebounder.

I thought individually he was just as good if not better than LeBron last year in the playoffs but the problem is that team needs LeBron to function properly. They aren't a title team without either - but they're probably marginally better with LeBron no AD vs. with AD no LeBron. I only say marginally because AD is more important to what they do defensively.

The Lakers are perfectly average with only one of them and that's a testament to how good both players are. If he misses the rest of this series they are in deep shit unless LeBron pulls some more GOAT shit out of his ass (which he may or may not - his form through 4 games has been poor for his standards and we've seen him quit in series before).

CP is getting healthier and 2 out of the next 3 are in Phoenix.

Another note - KCP is a big miss for them too. You'd at least want him to return to have a good chance at getting to the next round.

Today looks like a clunker of a basketball day, on paper.

It's never a clunker watching Embiid work. Even if it's another blowout.

I think he's been my favorite player to watch this season. (Outside of KD at least but it's always a battle for #2)

some idiot fan just tried to run out onto the court. i wish we did like they do with soccer hooligans in England/Europe, and just go ahead and show them getting their ass kicked by security. there's zero evidence that refusing to give these people airtime does anything to dissuade them from doing it anyway, especially when everyone has smart phones these days. just leave the camera on them and let us enjoy it in real time.

If your entire craft is built around putting a ball in a big basket and you can't do so consistently, unemcumbered, from 15 feet you deserved to be fouled over and over and over until you prove you can do so.   Period.

If you told me that exactly one first-round series from this playoffs would end in a sweep, Bucks-Heat would not have been among my first three guesses.

It would have been my 5th choice I think. Although I only had it going 5 I believe.

Luka with the neck

Embiid with the knee

AD aint lookin good

Denver operating without Murray

Attrition is a motherfucker...

Also, Ben Simmons should be embarassed. You are a pro basketball player. Develop a fucking offensive game. Learn to shoot free throws. You cannot be a liablility for your team in late game situations at that position. It's absolutely atrocious.

Doc Rivers wants to tell us how we should focus on all the great things Ben does. Sure, he's a great defender. But this dude should dominate at his size. With that handle, with that court vision, with the ball in his hands all the time, he should be so dominant. He's just not developed the way we all thought. Very good player, but nowhere near the superstar we projected him to be.
