All my SWA rewards points says he runs for, and wins, statewide office next cycle.

If somebody on Twitter finds out his name, please post it here.  The "doxx" thing people do or whatever it's called.  I'm sure LEO folks met him at the gate.  But I wanna find out where he banks.

JFC people… fat redneck piece of shit talking to a woman and kids like that and you just sit there and let it go on like that?

This.  Make eye contact with a few other passangers who look up for the job, give a head nod, and present an overwhelming show of force.

I don't get why those flight attendants aren't instantly calling for a return to the gate. Maybe I'm wrong but it sounded like they were still leaving the gate. That's pretty irresponsible, IMO.  Any level of abuse should result in immediate arrest.

The flight just landed. They are going to the gate.

They did.  This happened prior to pushing off the gate.  :18 seconds in, the FA goes up front to start the process of getting him kicked off.   It takes a bit to coordinate that though.  The days of crewmembers of any kind actively pulling a guy off a plane are long gone, it's done by local security and local cops now.  I highly doubt he was arrested, since his threats were to a passenger and not a crewmember.  More than likely the airport cops escorted him off.  I'd love to say he was put on a no-fly list for the entire industry, but unfortunately one doesn't exist yet.

In Texas, threatening someone with imminent bodily injury qualifies as assault.  I'd think that video makes a good case for that charge.

Yeah but that would be between the lady and the dude.  I hope she pursues it but more than likely she went on her way after he got pulled off.  Doubt she's going to miss her flight so she can give statements to the cops, etc...  I'd love to be wrong on that.  I could see a case for his light push of the FA to be considered interfering with a crewmember, but I've seen shit like this too many times only to find out the guy got pulled off and booked on the next flight after the verbal equivalent of a sternly worded note.

We absolutely need to change the federal law that states any threat to anyone in an enclosed public transportation setting will result in arrest.  You lose your ability to walk away or flee a threat when you are on a plane.

NVM...

Read it incorrectly so my smartass comment doesn't work here

Mea culpa

I would have enjoyed seeing this douche confronted by the nearby men, an inflatable vest put on him like a straight jacket, the demo seat belt put around his neck and him being drug to the floor for a pummeling. Of course that would have gotten them on a no fly list and arrested.

Hope somebody crowd sources his identity and any asshole like his and makes sure his life is as miserable as he makes it on others. He better hope he is self employed with no outstanding warrants, suits, etc.

Yeah I'm sure somebody who behaves like that meets those qualifications.

This one is short but man what could happen on a plane that would warrant this kind of anger. Maybe don’t spend three hours in an airport to fly to Houston from Austin and you won’t have  so much anger lol.

I'd guess it's just an aggy coming to terms with the fact that he's back home to his fat wife and tract home in Katy.

That was definitely on AA not Spirit. This better not delay them from serving booze again

Noticed that, too, given the American Way magazine in the seatback pocket. This particular incident won't have any bearing on their booze service seeing how it took place prior to the pandemic -- notice that no one in the video is wearing a mask.

Hey!!!

We don't all have fat wives.  Some of us just bang South Austin's mom and that's traumatic enough to give you PTSD.....

I have to give credit to southwest,  they didn't get me home, but got me close. Was in Orlando for some bs corporate training. First plane had a bad.motor, they found another  plane and switched. Then dropped me off in Austin and told me to come back in the morning so I can get back to El Paso. Off to my brother's house to crash. What a joy flying is, better than being stuck in Orlando though. Hope the best to the kid who got sick, I could feel the plane diving into Houston before they green lit the kid to Austin.

Question about Companion Pass on SWA since I've never had one....

I've seen that you can pick a Companion and then change them up to 3 times.  But, could I set Companion 1, then book trips in April, June, and October, then set  Companion 2 and book trips in May, July, and November?

Basically, I would be switching companions between trips without going through the process to switch it multiple times...

Just be sure companion 1 doesn’t find out about companion 2.

Haha...fair enough.

Nah, when I did this, both my GF and I got the SWA Visas and got CPs.  The thought was that she and I would go on mine if we took a trip with just us, but then we could take couple friends on other trips - so, me and one friend and her with the other friend.  Didn't really look into the rules beforehand.  My bad.

So, now my GF and I are looking at several trips this year with just us, but then taking a few trips with one couple and some more with another.

If I have to switch back and forth for each trip it would make it difficult to actually do the plan.

Your companion has to be the companion at the time you fly and when you add them to your ticket. You could book them last minute (assuming there are seats), but I don’t think your plan would work since your companion would switch between booking more than 3 times.
