Your RPI will be off the charts !    Vandy, ASU, Gonzaga,  even Wright St normally has a respectable program.  You may be aware,  Gonzaga just swept Fullerton this past weekend.

I really like Josh Holiday.

Yep.

Our non-conference schedule this year is fantastic. In addition to those mentioned, we also have a weekend series at BYU, a home series against Seton Hall and then mid-week games against DBU (2x), ORU (2x), Missouri State, and Wichita State (2x).

Yeah the RPI should be quite strong if we take care of business.

And I’m sure ORU will push our shit in again lol

Their weekend starters couldn't find the strike zone.  I'm sure their mid-week starter isn't any better.

If they had even average pitching, I think they’d be a fringe tournament team. They seemed solid in the field and judging their at bats against us in unfair. They’ve apparently been hitting alright according to the dude above, but baylor shut them out. And baylor seems like they fucking suck this year. I bet rice improves throughout the year. Cruz seems like a good fit to get them into that top 30ish type team. I’ve said this multiple times, but Texas-Rice when we’re both good is fucking awesome. Great little college baseball rivalry that’s everything right about college sports

Wait wtf. Tech plays Merrimack 6 times this weekend. Once Friday, double headers Saturday and Sunday. Then Mississippi state on Tuesday and Wednesday then a weekend series against rice. 11 fucking games in 14 days!?!! Good lord, Tadlock!

Red raider maf says that's 5 games, not 6.

Yeah I realized the fuck up. Been a long week. Cut me some slack. Good luck against the fighting Mackawhateverthefucks.

So what’s your feel on this team thus far? I know small sample size but curious what you think

Not as loaded as some of the recent past ones, but definitely capable.  Timmy is a bad mofo.

Yeah Tadlock is awesome. What’s happened to y’all’s pitching last year? Could’ve swore it was good to great from like 2016-2019 but I obviously don’t follow tech like you do. Find yourself a Hansen or a Witt and y’all would be a top 5 team

Big 12 is shitting the sheets in the non conference. We are doing all we can over here boys

Ehhhh the big 12 is doing ok-ish. Baylor is heating up. Okie state is gonna do what they do. Beat Vanderbilt then lose to sayyyy Gonzaga for example. Tcu and tech are gonna do their thing. the Kansas schools are the Kansas schools. Honestly don’t know much about West Virginia this year and ou fucking sucks. So pretty much a normal big 12 year it seems like

You'd trade two solid wins over ranked teams for a bunch or meaningless wins against a scrub opponent?  Not to mention the experience for our team.

No, thanks.

Yeah no shit. Where’s that god damn sarcasm font you were talking about in the other thread?

Said earlier in the thread but osu isn’t a top 15 team at the moment…win over Vandy aside.  Seems like our hitting is always awful, with endless strikeouts against mediocre competition.  Hoping the bats wake up mid-season like they do in better years.

Gonzaga sweeps OKSt with a 2-1 victory in game 3.

Gonzaga looks very good, 9-2.

Is the conference really down this year or something? I guess Baylor is alright and OSU did beat Vandy.

Granted it is the early going.

I wouldn’t mind winning the conference in 3 of the last 4 full seasons.

So aggy sucks right now. Tcu ain’t looking so hot. Schloss getting out while the getting was good to head to the official “has been” coaching retirement community?

Louisville is always pretty salty.   Midweek road game, 11AM start, 43 degrees.

As you state,  early,  and really too early to consider.   But for conversation purposes...
