Seen a few posts from people speculating that Neyor might portal. Where’s this coming from? Seems like he’ll have an important role in the offense once he comes back healthy. We need deep threat guys like him.

He would have to sit out a year if he transferred again.  I wouldn’t think sitting out for injury then transferring would count as his year of having to sit out after his first transfer.

I dont see why if he didnt play at all. And this was his 3rd year. He could be a grad transfer. Could...

B cause he was injured well after transferring. It’s still his free transfer

And he didnt play. So looking at it one way, he already " sat out a year"

Im assuming the language prevents a player, post " free transfer " from playing one year with one team and then playing for another the next.

Seeing as he played for nobody this year, he sat out. And is thus eligible for another transfer with zero restrictions.

Looks like some posters cracked the code of the SEC WR Ketchum has been referencing. Barion Brown from Kentucky. Had an awesome freshman year. Several of our staff members are following him on twitter.

Seems like the secret isn’t well kept cuz Brown was asked about the transfer rumors yesterday after their game.

But he enrolled and took classes. The whole college/student athlete thing is still a big part of the whole college football thing dude.

So that 1 insider poster from IT, Hookah Horns, posted that Xavier Worthy is telling people he plans to transfer to USC or Bama.

Tell him to get on then.  Maybe we’l stop trying to force feed him the ball then.  I’d rather have Whittington back for another year than worth

This immediate eligibility after transferring is the dumbest shit to ever happen to College Football.

It seems like it was an inevitable next step, legally, after allowing NIL money that does not run through the university.  If we ever get to collective bargaining and/or contracts with the schools then maybe it gets modified.  For me personally, unlimited transfers is starting to leave a bad taste.  I don’t begrudge players seeking the best deal for them but the fact that it’s completely unregulated is peeling back whatever thin veneer of amateurism that is remaining.

That’s assuming the NCAA enforced the one time transfer rule, which is very much a question. It’s unlikely they would win on that issue if it goes to the courts.

You must be on a bender tonight. That is not at all how it works. It’s about whether they player enrolled at the new school.
