It's obviously Pierce's worst blind spot.  Do Tulo or anyone else not have the pull to actually step up and say "hey, we have a problem here"?

I have to believe it has been discussed. It seems like such a fixable issue.

We’ve been a terrible baserunning team every year Pierce has been here. I can’t think of a time that it’s bitten us in the post season but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.

Were we bad at that in 2019? I can't remember between all the wild pitches.

He has always gotten runners thrown out at home. So I guess maybe we haven’t always been that bad since his plan seems to be to get runners thrown out at home.  This year though has been every possible bad piece of baserunning

Nothing beats Harlingen field. WhiteWings 4 life.

Yes that is great little stadium with some history to be told.   Goes way back to when MLB clubs used to have spring training in the RGV and other part of Texas.    And the Whitewing games were fun especially the first couple of years when I’d still make frequent trips down there to see family and take care of business.

At this point Im going to chalk it up to Pierce f’nk up baserunning on purpose.....there is no other reason it can be comically so bad...... Im on to you coach..... I see you trying to drag the team down, but not be obvious....lose a handful due to bad base coaching but still be in the hunt..... props to Pierce for being comically bad on purpose..... but very few catching on..... thats my only explanation.....

Morehouse deserves a shout for a great performance tonight. Shame Harrison was shaky and let in the runner. RGV aren’t amazing, but they’re not slouches by a long shot and 5.1 hitless is exactly the kind of step up this bullpen needs right now.

Didn't realize how solid he has been recently.

Since getting touched up a bit against USCe, in 8 appearances in last 6 weeks or so:

He has been a stud. Since USCe, Morehouse has given up just eight hits across 17.1 innings of work with a 7:3 (14:6) SO/BB ratio.
