Things not going well for Aggy singers

Did he do it while singing the anthem? My guess is that's why it's described as "offensive." Of course, sooner fans defile the song by inserting "soooners" at the end over "brave," you know the part that honors people who fought and died for the country. These are the same people who go full cloak room if you do literally anything else during the song that they don't like, so fuck them, and fuck aggy.

You people take this shit way too seriously.  This guy is just having fun, there's nothing obsessive about him.  Nor A&M, which in their own right is an independent, proud school, with no fixation on the U. of Tex...

[re-views the words to the Aggy Warr Himm, which is 90% psychotically fixated on UT]

He finished singing the song from behind home plate, then proceeded to do some OSU/Tech guns up and switched to horns down. I find it harmless but I can see where the NCAA's opinion is that they hired him to sing the song. They didn't hire him to sing the song and then play the role as a cheerleader.

If you allow a personal editorial at the end of the anthem, what's the line? Horns down is ok but saying F (school name) isn't?

The headlines do make it come off like this, especially after complaints of the ECU baseball crowds.

If someone reads the headline that the NCAA canceled his next appearance because he decided to editorialize and taunt one of the participating teams, with no mention of Texas officials (because they were completely uninvolved), then that person is a dipshit of the highest order, and this is neither the first nor last thing they'll read and gain zero comprehension.

There was only one purpose of this picture.  It has nothing to do with the doting couple.  It's the fucking aggy ring.  That's the only reason they took this pic.  The obsession with that stupid ring.

That and to show the world he has fat rolls in his leg.

Meh.  Aggy gon' aggy.

The horns down thing gained steam when refs started throwing flags for it in football games.  And that bullshit came from admin leaning on the conference.  Penalizing athletes for a completely inoffensive hand gesture shows nothing but thin skin, and certain types of people were going to keep poking that wound because it is insane how offended some UT fans were (or at least school officials), to the point of whining to the conference.  Add in the reality that no other school in the Big 12 would have received that white glove treatment, and the resentment attached to Horns down at least makes a little bit of sense.  NCAA getting in on the act in this situation doesn't help matters.  It will only inspire more mouth breathers to do this type of thing in the future.  And you can bet someone related to UT with influence bitched about this aggy and made this happen.  Whoever that is needs to grow up.  Let aggy be aggy.  It only makes things worse for them when they're allowed to behave naturally in public.

There will always be people who thumb their nose at the rich/big/cool kid on the block.  Acknowledging them only gives them what they're looking for.

That is a completely dishonest spin on the reasoning of what happened

Yeah no shit. Whatever "whining" happened was more from us getting flagged for very minor hand gestures, while opposing teams were flagrantly getting in fans faces doing horns down with no flag. We were sick of the double standard.

Roy Williams was flagged for putting a up a hook em as he went into the endzone.    Opposing teams taunt our team with it and do it in their face with zero penalty.   Tom Herman asked for clarity and the B12 made a big deal about it and kept doing so to keep it in the NEWS.   It highlighted another example of dual officiating standards that Texas dealt with for decades.  And when asked privately for clarity, they had a fit and went public and kept it public.   This is exactly the type of shit that makes me happy to leave the conference and hope it dies.

Is there anything more aggy than this story?

This moron shows up to the women's college world series to do the Horns down when aggy wasn't even a participant. Then the aggy cult blames it on Texas being soft when the only bitch in this story is aggy showing up to an event they weren't good enough to be in.

This story perfectly encapsulates aggy culture.

Don't forget Mike Davis being flagged for doing a guns down gesture

That was just as dumb as anyone being flagged for a Horns down.  Big 12 was/is ridiculous.  My point was really that being the big dog means you don't have the luxury of whining with impunity.  The advantages for UT are already baked in.  No one wants to hear Longhorn bitching, even when it is justified, and I get that.  Aggy and Tech can bitch all they want and it won't so much as disturb the breeze.  Why?  Because they start from a severe disadvantage.

another bullshit post.  asking for clarity in officiating or worse, equal officiating shouldn't be a radical position.

Would you be fine with strike zone of the Yankees being defined by the roster salary of their opponents?
