hell of a ballsy call with the onsides kick after the TD

Arky back in it due to another bama special teams blunder -- deep snapper hit the upback with the snap.  Arky gets ball inside the bama 5yd line...  Arky scores TD

WOW -- Bama lead is now only 28-23 😋

Arkansas really needed to avoid that choke job against aggy. They're 3-2 and the remaining schedule is brutal factoring in the two nonconference games against BYU and Liberty.

Liberty is a really good football team.

Pittman has done a good job at Arkansas but they're still likely going to finish around 6-6 this year.

Former Bama & Arky OC... Last 2yrs w/Maryland

Love this story...  "Where the Fuck is Dan?"

Nick Saban was reportedly not plugged in about Dan Enos’ job opportunities outside of Alabama.  Enos spent the 2018 season as Alabama’s quarterbacks coach and moved to Miami in the offseason to be the Hurricanes’ offensive coordinator under new coach Manny Diaz. That move to Miami came as an apparent surprise to his head coach.

According to the Athletic, Saban was fully expecting Enos at the team’s regular staff meeting on Friday, Jan. 11. Except, unbeknownst to Saban, Enos had been in talks with Miami about their offensive coordinator vacancy. And when Enos didn’t show up to the meeting, Saban asked where he was multiple times.

All timer. Hope he rots in the Mississippi or Arkansas State Penitentiary for a long, long time.  Lebby to Broiles.  Wonder what the connection was.....

Played at Stephenville, under fat fuck Lebby, under Briles' son. Can't imagine any of that is a coincidence.

It's like the first time I read the Rolling Stone UVA frat rape story.  There are certain things that I just don't believe.

Like him raping 12 girls at Ole Miss and his parents paying them all off and having them sign an NDA.  That just doesn't pass the smell test.

I haven't really done anything other click over and read the tweets, but, yeah, that part of seems stretchy. To coordinate that kind of cover-up would be pretty complicated and expensive.  How much is a rape worth for a young female? I assume the price would vary, but I doubt they're having their silence bought for something like $20k. And then the parents are just fine with their son being a serial rapist?

It certainly looks like the dude did something terrible to the woman who has been posting about it, in any event. If the shit is true, I hope he's locked away forever, same as any other rapist.

Wealthy privileged parents using money to protect their kid is fishy to you? It’s a tale as old as time itself. A small Baptist university covering up multiple rapes to keep winning foosball games felt like a stretch and yet it happened for years. There’s a Briles involved in this story, increases it’s believability ten fold.

Are you being intentionally obtuse with this post in an attempt to make a point? Or did you just not read through the prior posts thoroughly? It has to be one or the other, since you're not normally just an idiot with a keyboard on here.

No one questioned parents paying off people to protect their kid. What was questioned was the ability for anyone to pull off the scope of what is being claimed. The family isn't an institution like Baylor was. 14 girls from 14 families is a lot of payouts to keep quiet and a lot of chaos to keep in lockstep.

Further, the enforceability of something like that seems tenuous at best:

"If you do speak out about this, you will owe us the money back and we can take you to court."

... go to court ...

"Your honor, my client raped the defendant, that's a given, and then paid her to keep her mouth shut. We're here today to prove that she's been speaking to people about this whole violent rape thing, and that she therefore needs to give us back our hush money."

Anyway, I've lived enough to know that either scenario could be possible here - dude is a rape machine being continually enabled by money and parents, or the dude is being piled on after doing something shitty to a female student. The middle won't surprise me and seems more likely - he's done some raping and should go to prison if so, but they haven't successfully covered up 14 rapes and counting.

I think we are all missing the point. They just made a bold gambit to vault to the front of the Fulmer Cup rankings.

Yes.  Believing that 12 girls at Ole Miss accepted money and signed NDA's to stay quiet on rape doesn't seem believable to me at all.  Its not believable that parents would do that on 12 occasions.  And that an attorney would draw up an NDA 12 times.  Its also not believable that all 12 girls would accept that deal.

Not saying other parts of the story may not be true, but once you start to crack holes in part of the story, the rest becomes less believable.

Just like people wanted to believe the privileged Duke Lacrosse team gang raped a stripper and that privileged frat boys at UVA gang raped a student, sometimes the accusations get to point that they pass the point of believable except to those who have preconceived notions of how they think people in other social groups act.

I'm same as you.  He doesn't appear to be a good dude and if guilty I hope he goes away.  I hope it all comes out.  I would encourage the women to go to the authorities instead of Instagram.

Maybe he raped those girls and messaged them admitting it and bragging about it?  That seems quite dumb to me, but maybe.  Or maybe its some sort of fantasy and they went along with it for awhile and then had a bad break up.

People are into weird shit these days.  Go to pornhub and see what the most popular videos are.  Fucking weird and honestly scary.  Makes me want to give my kids a 1995 Hustler and say this is "normal", that isn't.

Going to the authorities rarely produces any sort of results that are anywhere near as effective as social media pressure.

Also your dumb fuck concern trolling is exactly the reason most women don't come forward. I don't think you're necessarily doing it on purpose, but your comments indicate you are part of the problem.

A whole lot more that doesn't pass the smell test.  Per his attorney (so take the messenger, and his cheap website into account), many of the images used were from actual domestic abuse/rape victims of that were found on the internet.

IMO, his fucked up messages are real and he's into some weird shit.  If I had to guess that's what his attorney is admitting when he says "While Kade Renfro is not perfect..."a

Quote

On or about August, 2022 the Plaintiff and Defendant began seeing one another and were intimate on multiple occasions, often jointly videoing the encounter. On or about January 2023 Defendant reached out to Plaintiff and asked for the full video so that she could upload it onto her “OnlyFans” link presumably for money. “OnlyFans.com is an internet content subscription service base in London, UK. The service is used primarily by sex workers who produce pornography.” (onlyfans.com/about) Plaintiff immediately blocked the Defendant ending any communication or relationship between the two. Defendant, ##### then, in a written posting on an “anonymous” Instagram.com site, contributed to by her, kaderenfroabuse, and made multiple defamatory posts including pictures, personal information such as Plaintiffs cellular number and Plaintiff’s social media addresses, aided in perpetuating the belief that some pictures stolen by the creator of the site were real and inferred they were her, and shared private, consensualphotos of Austin Kade Renfro without his permission or consent in an attempt to harm and defame Plaintiff, AUSTIN KADE RENFRO as revenge for ending their relationship. At that time, Defendant also specifically encouraged the reposting and sharing of the defamatory and libelous statements she made about and against Plaintiff. The statements made by Plaintiff were defamatory, false and not mere opinions. Defendant knew or should have known the statements were false and nonetheless, proceeded to make the statements and posts about and against Plaintiff. Defendant’s statements were made with malice and with the specific intent of harming Plaintiff. The statements impune Plaintiff’s honesty, integrity, virtue and reputation in the community and public at large.

Additionally, Defendant went onto www.change.org, which is a public forum, and contributed to a petition contained on this site regarding Kade Renfro and made defamatory remarks directed specifically and purposefully at Kade Renfro. Defendant’s statements further falsely charge Plaintiff with the commission of a felony crime involving moral turpitude and unethical acts, injuring Plaintiff’s reputation and injuring him in his college football career and any prospective NFL career in the future. Defendant mentioned Plaintiff specifically by name and accused him with the very title of the Instagram site, kaderenfroabuse. Defendant’s actions in posting on Instagram/com, such statements about and against Plaintiff, were defamatory and resulted in damage to Plaintiff’s person and reputation.

You're the one who has a problem with questioning it at all.

You went over the top with a silly buzzphrase and you were, indeed, wrong. It's telling that you can't own it. Uncreative vulgarities like "suck my entire cock" are what I expect witless tech grads with a room temperature IQ to resort to, so at least you're on brand.

I gotta stay consistent.

Also, I own completely what I said, and disagree that I was wrong. You're mistaking me not acquiescing to your assertions as refusing to own it for some reason.

Your dumb fuck word-parse trolling is why most posters avoid the Cloak Room at all costs.

You took Don Johnson's honest and clear position of questioning the validity of some pretty wild shit being posted anonymously by a woman claiming to have been abused. The dude acknowledged that she could be legitimate to boot.

That wasn't "concern trolling" and you used that term as a rhetorical shortcut for the purpose and hope of prempting a tangent in the thread discussion that didn't suit your comfort zone. It's a cheap online maneuver that jumps off the fucking screen to those of us who have been online and posting and debating for years/decades.

He wasn't "concern trolling" and that also isn't why "most women" don't come forward. That assertion is equally laughable, and also completely unfounded. Does such a thing play a role for some women? Sure. Is that the primary reason "most women" don't come forward? No. Get the fuck out of here with that lazy platitude about an extremely complicated psychological traumatic issue.

You were wrong in the entirety of the position you took, but at least now I understand why you're not owning it. You don't understand the stupidity and transparency of your posting behavior. I shouldn't have attributed to cowardice what could have adequately been attributed to stupidity.

Okay, I'll be serious for a second. Your points are fair. I was too aggressive in my discourse toward @Don Johnson. I should have engaged in better faith, instead of being reactionary about it and assuming he was concern trolling.

There is a good reason for my reaction, however. I've said this many times on this board, but I spent years as a victims' assistance coordinator and I have heard sentiments similar to those he was espousing many, many times (often from cops), and it was almost always coming from someone who wanted to do anything in their power to dismiss or reduce the words of the victims in order to provide some kind of smoke screen for the accused (or simply avoid doing their jobs). I can't tell you how many times I had to listen to some dumbass meathead nitpick minor aspects of a victim's story in order to dismiss the accusation in its entirety (again, often a cop, more frequently lawyers).

At this point in my life, that's just my immediate conditioned response, right or wrong. I even said I didn't think he was doing it on purpose. The reason I asserted that's the reason most women don't come forward is more of a systemic criticism, but our (meaning men) general tendency to try and poke holes in the accusations of victims rather than probe a little more deeply into the behavior of the accused is a BIG part of the reason a lot of women don't come forward, and I'm not sure why you would even try to argue against that. The last thing a victim wants to do is face a male skeptic "just asking questions" in the aftermath of their ordeal.

This post is the kind of post that would have made sense yesterday when you first responded. Better late than never.

As with many of us posting here (basing that off of statistics), I've got females close to me who have been victims. I just didn't like the simple position that it's all about someone else faking concern in order to dismiss the premise. It cannot be disputed that that is a part of the fear of coming forward, but the issue is simply far more complex than leaving it at that. That piece and you jumping the guy's throat when he seemed pretty open and reasonable about his thoughts and how he was looking at it were my issues.
