I've seen this a number of times and it was always glaringly obvious to me at the time that the door was on a slant from the inside but not from the outside. Tons of shows have these inconsistencies in their sets. Why has this one been passed around so much the last year or so?

Probably because there’s been a Seinfeld resurgence with Netflix picking it up. It was on constant rerun on off cable channels, but binge watching has a new generation watching it. My 21-yo son went through the entire show this summer.

Was his mind blown about the physics of the door and hallway? Because, again, it was really obvious, and tons of shows are like this with their sets. The posts are also usually accompanied by some dumbass clickbait over the top xennial headline like "Fans of This Show Had Their World Collapse When They Learned Their Favorite Apartment Couldn't Exist!!"

No, just mildly interesting. I agree, it always bothered me, even when I watched the original airings back in the day.
