One way to play less defense is to get off the field. We can’t execute when it matters, not because we’re tired, but because we suck.

the way most teams do it is by playing offense in a way that allows the defense to rest and recover so that they defense can play optimally at some point.

notice our shitty losses all look the same...  offense can't move for dick in 2H, defense is on the field often, and eventually can't stop anybody... lose by slim margin.

It's unfortunate that we've had an injured QB for the last 11 games... I'd start Charles Wright this week.

Go look at the play by play…were we tired when we have up a 19 play TD scoring drive to start the game? Or when we followed that up their next drive that ended in a TD?

What about in the second half when our offense chewed up clock and went down to score, only for our defense to give up another long drive that ended in a TD immediately after.

Defenses give up long, clock-chewing drives because they suck, not because they’re tired.

For fuck’s sakes Slavls, you’re acting like our D showed up and eventually got worn down. They started the game giving up long drives for TDs and never stopped.

You’re not even pretending anymore.

The defense was tired in the first quarter because the offense scored too fast or something

Where are all the nerds that were huffing their own farts last week after beating UTSA? "b-b-but we came back and beat them!"

We shouldn't even have had to come back on UT fuckin SA. Seriously listen to yourselves.

Sark has never shown he can build a championship team as HC, and he won't do it here.

Unfortunately I had to live McWilliams 2-8 (Last 7 games of 1988/1st 3 games of 1989). But yes it has been a while and never thought I would have to even remotely compare to those days. This one of the worst (there were so many to choose from though!). Announced attendance was 49,000 (out of 77,800) which means there were realistically 30,000-40,00 empty seats. God that was depressing. At least we had the strippers to entertain us!

That's the first sporting event I ever left early. Thanks for the great memory.

We've lost 7 of the last 8 Big 12 games.

We went from getting the short end of the stick to getting absolutely sodomized by the stick. We should've left the conference immediately instead of letting turds from lubbock and collie station call our games for 2 years.

I never got the fascination/hype/anticipation many did with either the Herman hire or the Sark hire.

All 3 recent hires were bad because none had  success at the power conference level.

Mack (success at UNC), Barnes (success at Clemson), Beard (success at Texas Tech). Who wants to bet all 3 of these coaches end up being much better than Strong, Herman, and now Sark?

This isn't rocket science. When Texas hires coaches with success from power conferences they have a good track record.
