200+ yards rushing, Manning played like crap for most of the game. With the season on the line, Sarkisian went to the running game when it mattered and those guys delivered. Just can't admit you are wrong, which is why almost the entire board thinks you are a fucking cunty bitch.

That's good, they still suck. Hutson was getting his ass whooped all game.

If Malakai Lee was actually on campus today, this bodes well especially considering Max Wright took a hike (Lee would be a take regardless). Now, just need Ohio State NOT to shit the bed against Michigan again and then Lee commits to the good guys. I'm calling it.

I hope he sees the blizzard they are supposed to be playing in and says “aww hell no, I’m out”

I don't know the ins and outs of NIL, but it seems like we're not keeping up with the market value for OL. I assume they plan on shifting more of their focus to the portal. Either that or Flood is just a terrible recruiter.

Both of his daughters attend UT. I don’t know if they are affiliated with the team in some capacity.

According to their Instagram bios both of his daughters are interns for UT football.

I don't post on these boards at all really because, well you know.

But man are you really in here attempting to spit shine those turds? 54 and 62 are NOT good. Wisner was having to dance around their busted assignments 4 yards behind the line. Luckily we found something in the pin and pull game. You can thank 52 for most of that, out there moving people, as well as Tre for setting up his own and his vision. But go back and watch the LG and C getting absolutely worked for most of the game whether that be in the passing game or run game.

It's all relative. Are they good o-linemen? No. Are they better than the matadors we had at LG for the first half of the year? Without question.

They gave us time to survive this season and get it fixed without our season completely bottoming out.

That’s the hope. Our team is set up to compete next year but we have to completely remake the OL. Campbell and Hutson are gone. Robertson is mediocre at best. And this may qualify as a hot take, but we could use a tackle to push Baker and Goosby. Those guys looked OK in comparison to the interior, but neither one is exactly Kelvin Banks out there.

The in house options are fucking grim. Stroh is literally the only guy with significant experience and…yuck. Trotting Arch out in his contract year behind a starting IOL of Stroh, Cruz, and Kibble ain’t gonna cut it.

I’m pretty sure that you would die if you tried to play offensive line in a college football game against Georgia.

I’m not sure getting 3-4 new portal OL are going to be the answer either and that’s if you can even find them their. Sark and Flood better earn their fucking money next season. He talks a good game about developing so dammit he better do something cause I honestly thought Arch wasn’t gonna make it

One is the guy from Texas state they should go after. Then they need to find 2 more.

Can we depend on Cojoe next year? Granted we don’t know how good he is either. I think Baker improved immensely from the start of the season. Goosby played more solidly too but the IOL is going to be an issue. If we can find at least one decent replacement in the portal that’ll do wonders. I don’t think any of the incoming recruits are early contributors, but hopefully 1-2 of the younger guys turns out to be a diamond in the rough.

We need two interior starters

What did Cojoe hurt again?? Wasn’t  it similar to Baxter? if so ion think we’re gonna be able to depend on him. You see Baxter still isn’t anywhere near where he was.

100%.
the real question is do we think we’ll find two interior starters?? Maybe some of this coaching dominoes can help us in that regard

yeah, the fact they need IOL guys vs OT is a GIGANTIC positive - significantly easier to find OGs vs OTs

Robertson has another year and can battle out w/ Cruz

maybe one of Brooks, Kibble grow into a starter.

haven't seen anything about Cojoe and his recovery

so you are likely hitting the portal for like 1-2 guys (IOL) vs that 3-4 that was mentioned above.

If we can’t find develop a guy or 2 out of the kids we recruited then whoever is in charge of OL evaluations needs to be demoted. I still think expecting this staff to get 2 IOL out of the portal is expecting a lot unless we have a coaching change at the position.

Gerry Hamilton was adamant this week that UT wanted to keep Max Wright in the class.

At what price? Is it pushed out or something else when SMU offers more money and UT isn't willing to match? He was always or should have always been considered a class filler. Personally, I never saw any way that he could see the field here because he was too slow.

I think we have decisions to make at wr also wrt bringing in a transfer and also current roster retention/NIL allocation.

We have multiple years of Mosley and Wingo should be back. We will either keep Moore, or give him up to Ffrench or Lockett, or give up 2 of those 3 and pick up someone in the portal. Lot's of options and they are all good.

Our offense is stacked next year. We just need to improve the O-Line.

Wingo isnt that  good and isn’t a feature WR like they try to force him to be.

Why demoted? Just fire them. What good are they in the age of unrestricted free agency if they can't identify superior interior OL from smaller schools and give them checks to come here?

Who is winning the awards? Even if all you're doing is going by PFF, do SOMETHING. Trap door two guys you know aren't it and bring in two juniors/seniors who might be.

Especially with roster expansion coming. It's stupid.

God watch us try to force Baxter and Wingo again in 2026 FML

We need a big play RB from the portal. Wisner is going pro, Baxter's injuries make him unplayable and Simon and Clark are meh guys. Cooper is going to be a star, but you can't expect a freshmen to be the bellcow.

Do we have legit OT after Goosby and Baker? I think we may need an OT also?

Brooks and Cojoe are likely #3 and #4 in the depth chart.

Agree. Jadan Baugh at UF and Fluff Bothwell at Miss. State should be targeted. Maybe Mike Washington at Arkansas if he doesn’t go pro.

We need:

Center, Guard, LB and maybe one WR in the portal.

We need a big time RB we need a playmaker that way Wisner is a complimentary back and Baxter if he’s 100% adds that power back we need.

Good CB (but Black did look good last night but do we chance it and give Black and Phillips their chance? Or go after another DB and let them earn it?)

we need a #1 Receiver and honestly I wouldn’t mind a speed demon/ shifty WR. Wingo and Mosley are number 2s until proven otherwise. We can’t leave it up to chance, go surround  Arch with playmakers .

I think TE will be good with Winston and Townsend

and of course OL. The interior for sure!!

Washington is going pro. He's already 5 years and 3 schools into his college, unlike Pavia, Washington has a real shot in the NFL. Baugh would 100% be the guy I would want.

I would like to see 2 starter level IOL plus a tackle for depth/competition.

Also need a big time RB, a DB (or 2), LB, and NT. I think WR is ok between what we have returning and the young guys, but if someone like Cam Coleman jumps in you have to go after him.

I’ve watched Cruz in person a couple times, I think he runs away with the center spot. He’s a sharp kid. Hes strong as an ox. He moves very well in space. Goosby and Baker are solid young bookends, both have a chance to be great next season. Texas is committed to the HS model. I think they bring in one OG and one swing tackle type.
