based on this season. I am going to bet the offense lights it up and the defense has a bad game, because the unexpected should be expected.

That Vegas open represents ~38-31, so high scoring would not be unexpected.

Just saying that you never know what Texas team will show up. Since the defense was great and the offense was horrible last week, it would be typical Texas if the reverse played out this week

You saw the Tech game, right ? Our d is a work in progress, and we have difficulty stopping the run.  It’s going to be mid-30s at game time. Keep it on the ground and it should be a tough game.
Which means Sark will dial up at least 10 bombs to Worthy. 5 of which he has no chance at and the other 5 he won't try to catch.

I could see us totally dominating or laying an egg.  The variance of this team is crazy.  Virtually no one had "Defense balls out and shuts down TCU" on their bingo card last week.

"Quinn plays shitty and Sark doesn't pull him" should have been on everyone's card.

For several years in a row on your first series there would a bomb down the middle of the field. It only worked once but we always knew it was coming

Oh Great... Jalon Daniels probably back

f26b040af865a1b3081520eb64895c9d

Kansas junior quarterback Jalon Daniels missed his fourth-straight game this past weekend due to injury, after initially starting the first six and suffering an injury midway through an Oct. 8 game against TCU. But Jayhawks head coach Lance Leipold said Monday that Daniels has progressed to the point Daniels can take the field and play freely. Leipold said Daniels is getting closer to returning and is taking more reps in practice.

Now, Leipold didn’t outright announce Daniels as the starter. Leipold even acknowledged that it’s not a situation where Daniels will get back to feeling 100%. But as the matchup with Texas approaches, it appears more likely than in recent weeks that this will be the contest in which Daniels returns to action.

“We’ve got two regular season games left,” Leipold said, “so hopefully he’s going to be able to be out there for one or two of them.

An update on Jason Bean’s status

It was redshirt senior quarterback Jason Bean who stepped in for an injured Daniels during that game against the Horned Frogs, and Bean who’s started every game since. But this past weekend in the loss against Texas Tech, Kansas saw Bean miss the Jayhawks’ final offensive drive of the game due to injury himself. That led to freshman quarterback Ethan Vasko seeing his first snaps of his college career.

Leipold did praise the flashes of potential Vasko showed on that drive, but didn’t have a lot to share about Bean’s status. Leipold said while Bean was at practice Monday, the senior didn’t do much. Fortunately for Vasko and the Jayhawks, should Vasko need to appear in any more games this season he won’t burn his redshirt as he won’t play in more than four games.

If history repeats every star player/key starter that’s been injured/suspended/absent etc prior to Texas game somehow miraculously makes their way back for Texas.
It’s uncanny

Yeah, he's the starter and our guys are going to hammer him.

I’m sorry if this has been discussed earlier but who are we cheering for today besides us? Do we actually need OU to win? Who else are we hoping for?

KSU & OSU need another loss.

KSU: @WVU, vs. KU

OSU: @OU, vs. WVU

Obviously we'd have to beat KU & BU for it to matter.
