Outfielder Travis Jankowski and catcher Mitch Garver will begin rehab assignments with Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday at Triple-A Albuquerque. They will be vastly different assignments.

Jankowski, who has been out since May 9 due to a hamstring strain, may play only two or three games and could be back for the Rangers series in Baltimore. Garver, however, could be on a two-week buildup toward catching again.

Garver, dealing with a knee sprain, will not catch before Thursday. Manager Bruce Bochy said he would like Garver, who has been out since April 9, to build up to be able to catch back-to-back games. Garver, who played six games before the knee injury, has not caught on consecutive days since April 28-29 of last season.
