Man, the Vols are really puttin' the band back together, just like Mack on the other side of the Smokies. I have a die-hard Vol fan friend and he calls this a "Peoples Revolution," and he means that as a compliment. We'll see.

They’re still thanking me for making Rick Barnes available.

This whole thread based around coaching salaries and Edsall stumping up for his assistant is an interesting argument that UConn would be better served dropping football:

Wait, you're telling me Randy Edsall didn't get fired after last season?

The season in which they went 1-11, with 265 points scored and 605 points against?

Insane.

Belichick may hire another former NFL HC to his Staff for next year...... Greg Schiano.   Multiple NFL reporters have mentioned the Patriots as a likely landing spot for Schiano.

Bret Bielema also currently on NE staff as Consultant to Head Coach

I barely recognized the 1980s offense the Pats ran last week.  Has anyone seen Craig James?

Pep is likely going to be the odd man out with Gattis coming in. With Ben McDaniels as the other option if Pep doesn’t find a landing place.

Paying pep a milli and a half a year hasn’t helped. Michigan is really hoping that someone in the NFL wants to take him back to the pros.

Gattis was a WR coach at pedo state when they ran the deep state offense there and with him calling plays, (Thank god Jimmy is giving that duty up) there is no need for Pep in awhat would be a too many cooks situation again.

I think it maybe has to be about how Bev Kearney (you know, won 6 national championships in chick's track Bev) got fired for banging an athlete but Major fucked a trainer on a bowl trip and was allowed to keep his job, with some counseling. And it ended up costing the university over a million dollars between lawyers and settlement to Bev. It's not Major's fault that they got treated differently for basically the same thing, but he's the fall guy and isn't welcome because of it.

Not exactly the same thing.....Bev not only Bang/scissored the athlete but paid her as well in addition to some other things. So, more than just sex.

But whatever, the optics are poor and he is likely lifetime banned from employment on the 40 acres, esp in the current climate of PC hypocrisy.

First Texas opponent for 2019 La Tech.....

Bob Diaco, who started the season a defensive specialist before being promoted to was promoted to outside linebackers coach following the in-season dismissal of Sooners defensive coordinator Mike Stoops, has landed a defensive coordinator position.

According to BleedTechBlue, Diaco will be the new defensive coordinator at Louisiana Tech. He replaces Blake Baker, who left to become the defensive coordinator on Manny Diaz’s staff at Miami.

If I’m graham harrell why would I hitch my wagon  to a boat anchor?  Within a couple of years he will be OC at a P5 school anyway, with a HC who can win and catapult him to his own HC job.

He said no to UNC this cycle to be OC. Maybe he figured if he can install his O and they win at USC he’s golden and if not he can get the 3 year paycheck for one year of work if they fire Helton?

I imagine with Helton in a hot seat he is negotiating a 3 year guaranteed contract.
