I’m not good. But I can hit the ball straight enough to make a scramble doable.

work is now making me do marketing things…. which means a lot more golfing.

I have always rented clubs for events…. But I feel like I should now buy a set.

Whats the best way to get a good set of beginner clubs? The second hand / refurbished Calloway site seems ok I guess. IDK.

Figured surly had enough gurus to lead me to the right path.

get your nephew a job as a caddy and have them steal a set you like.  profit.

or you can find a friend who builds clubs and get a free custom set.   it is not hard.   obviously, you are not a golfer.

I’d just schedule a fitting at Golf Galaxy or PGA Superstore. Tell ‘em your budget and see what they can put together for you. They sell used clubs as well.

Otherwise, that Costco Calloway set ain’t bad.

Don’t buy used. Golf is meant to be played by overspending and never seeing a return on investment. Don’t break the Universe.
