I don't disagree, but that Heather Dinich person who seems to generally have the pulse of the committee said if UT was 10-2 with a win against lesser OOC opponent it was not a given to be in the playoff. That's apparently how bad the UF loss and 35-10 UGA loss are viewed.

She is an idiot with an agenda. We definitely would be in with wins over OU, aggy, and Vandy lol.

Urban Meyer and Collin Cowherd saying we should be in. Urban Meyer said nobody will ever play a tough non conf game again because of this and of course Texas should be in, it's obvious. Cowherd said they need to get rid of ND.

When I look at last week's CFP rankings, I see us at #16 and a 3-2 record against teams in the top 14.  This doesn't include whatever jump we "should" make for beating #3.

It's very hard to wrap my head around the idea that we aren't worthy of a playoff bid.  We played a very tough schedule with great results against the top teams in college football, so what?

I have to believe that getting left out represents a shift on the committee's behalf from "tough losses don't matter" to "only losses matter".

Man if I was a Tech fan I would shut the fuck up until I actually got the first outright big boy conference championship ever in the history of my program under my belt and maybe went a few rounds in the playoffs.  Tech has had a good season, don't let it go to your head.

Yeah, that ain't happening. Tech fans today are so similar to aggy fans at 6:30pm last Friday.

It's not laughable.  I know for a fact Tech has tried to schedule upper end SEC teams and they won't take the call.

So until I see A&M, UT, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, etc. on Tech's future OOC schedule, I'll continue to make my case.  UT and A&M will not even pick up the phone, which is fine.  But then don't turn around and tell us we don't play anybody when you are unwilling to play us.  You can't have it both ways.

Sure we can. Tech plays a shitty schedule in a shit conference. Texas doesn't have an obligation to remedy that.

Tech played Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kent State, and Oregon State this year out of conference and here you are whining that it's only because Texas, Alabama, and Georgia wouldn't play you. Boo hoo.

There are about 250 teams somewhere in-between Georgia and Arkansas Pine-Bluff. If Tech is serious about addressing their shit schedule, instead of blaming big bad Texas, pick up the phone, start making calls, and schedule the best teams that you can OOC.

But that's not what your administration did. They chose to schedule 3 flea-ridden shit bags OOC to go with your shitty in-conference schedule and you think that entitles you to come on here spouting about both ways. Get a grip and do a little self-reflection.
