Because teams are allowed to play FCS and G5 schools.

This would only work if we separate the P4 and disallow games against anybody outside of the P4. Probably then the G5 and FCS would merge.

I doubt something like that would ever happen. It would cost a lot of institutions a lot of money and destroy the bowl system.

So under the current system I think what we have is the best we can reasonably expect, with a little tweaking at best.

Yeah it's really not that complicated. This is football porn. You'd just have to ditch the CCGs since there aren't any byes or auto qualifiers.

and some conferences are just busted now with how big they are - can't even round-robin in their own division. Yeah I think CCG's are on the chopping block, but conferences don't want to lose that fat advertising check from the games
